I was called to tell me that there was an alarm from my 95 year old Mom and that there were first responders on the way. This was around the first of May. Even though it was a false alarm, I have yet to see the first responders!! My Mom has fallen again and I will be canceling this service.

Purchased their product for my sister and brother-in-law. Notifications should go to them, however they still send them to me, and make me forward them. I am in San Diego, they are in Sacramento

Received call that my mom fell and no response from her . Told person on phone I would call her and call back if she needed help. Could not get her on phone so called back waited 3 min and was connected to someone who said he needed to transfer me to right dept. on hold 10 min with no response. Hung up and called Mom again. She had crawled to phone and picked up. Meanwhile your company called my sister who is second on list and she said to send them out. I stayed on phone with my mom , when paramedics got there they had to go through kitchen window because your person did not tell them there was a lock box!!!! also was not informed of medical I.D on refrigerator. If she has been unconscious this would have been a disaster as she is allergic to many meds. Very disappointed in your service at this point and considering another company

Had two non functioning machines and a hassle getting problems fixed. Had no service for two months but when I ask for credit had to fight and finally got one month. If I had it to do over again I would go with another company

I have DSL with a modem and no one could tell me how to hook it up. There were NO instructions in my package from you. Some said there were instructions, others said "no." I had to call many times before I got any answers. The things they were saying didn't make sense because I suspect they were poorly trained. I think I finally got help with the technical help people. I thought about sending the package back and not doing business with you. I'm in poor heath and dealing with your company was WAY TOO stressful. However, I still have my brains and figured out eventually. I would never recommend your company to any of my friends.

My mother has not had to use the Bay Alarm but there is peace of mind knowing that she has it, if necessary. I am only giving 2 starts because I do wish that there was an option to have the system put on hold or pause if necessary. My mother will be going to my sister's house for the winter and will always be with my sister. It is not necessary for her to have the alarm while she is there and my sister does not have a land line so we can't just move the monitor. I am having to cancel the entire system and then re-start with a fee. I may have to look at other company options because this costs too much. I have called a couple of times and have been told that I have no other options with Bay Alarm Medical. I cannot recommend because of the limited options.

We researched online several medical alert systems that offered fall protection. In our review, Bay Alarm Medical was head and shoulders above the others so we entered into a contract. The equipment arrived promptly and the installation and testing went smoothly. It needed to because my spouse for whom we purchased the service was going to be home alone for more than a week since I would on business in the Middle East. Just prior to my departure, we got a recall notice and the notice told us not to use the fall detection button! This totally defeated the purpose of us getting the service in the first place. Time went on and I finally had to call and express my anger about the "lack" of fall detection. I cancelled and lost six months of expenses. And I don't think that they have replaced the fall detection buttons to their customers . . . and it's been a few weeks.

We only have had the system for a little while and have had 2 equipment replacements and had several false alarms. When my mother really did have a stroke the system did not work. My nephew found her on the floor. The equipment changes were incontinent and confusing. Would not in good concience recommend this system to anyone.
