Dispatching EMS, and we don’t have our system yet?
When I ordered the system for my mother, my customer service rep, Katie West was outstanding! Today, I first received an email that the system had shipped. A bit later, I received an automated voice msg saying there was a power loss on the system at my Mom's address. Since I didn't answer this call, the system also called the next two people on the call list. I immediately call Customer service, and was told the warehouse had been testing the system, getting it ready to ship, and when the powered it down, it caused this error. Several minutes later, I received a call from the dispatcher, saying he was dispatching fire/medical to my mom's address, because nobody had answered the phone. I had to argue with the gentleman and convince his, we didn't have the system yet, I had discussed this 10 minutes ago with Customer Service, and my Mom was fine. I then drove to her residence and found the Ambulance and Fire Engine sitting outsider her home. I told the crews what had happened, and apologized for wasting their time. Hats off to Katie West. She is what Customer Service should be!
