They are very responsive to alarms. No problem there, worth 5 stars, BUT; I lost my belt clip and called for a replacement. The cost was $2.50 discounted from $5.00. The cost to ship? FIFTEEN BUCKS!. Could mail it for one third. Is this a way for them to make supplemental income?

I was trying to set up the device for my husband and couldn't access the plug-in prongs. The robot I spoke to was HORRIBLE. I couldn't understand him nor did he have an answer to my questions. This is a very bad business decision on your part to use robots when your main callers are older people. I'm sure even young people would be offended by your robot. I was planning to recommend your company to friends, but now, given my experience, I definitely won't

Your watch is completely WORTHLESS! My mother has in the past been down on her knees working in her yard when the watch has gone off and you've called her. This past week she fell not once but twice. The first time was flat on her butt on the sidewalk and no call and the second time was yesterday where she went down 11 steps and again NO call! She has 5 broken ribs and a 7cm gash on the back of her head for which the area looks like a crime scene where someone was shot due to the amount of blood. By the grace of god she had her purse and was able to call me but we don't know how long she laid there due to the fact that the paramedics told us the blood was drying!!!

Hi Lois, First and foremost, we are very sorry to hear about mom's recent falls and injuries. We understand how scary that must have been for her and for you. We can assure you this was not our intention, nor would we ever want this to happen. It does look like one of our Care agents were able to assist you with additional information. Fall detection is designed to work in a specific way so that if the user has a fall, there shouldn't be too much movement afterwards. Most fall detection is made this way to avoid false alarms - or else it would go off with every move. With that being said, there is still a push-button to get assistance. We do see that our agent provided some guidance and a possible solution. Regardless, we have escalated your case further and will have someone reach out. My mom had the device for years and never had to use it (thankfully!). Now that she's moving to assisted living, it was time to cancel. Good luck! The cancel procedures require me to fax a document signed by my mom and then they'll review. I predict they'll be sure to delay until the next payment is due. So far this is the only service she has that has been hard to cancel.

We understand more than most how difficult it can be to make these life changes for our subscribers. However if Mom was listed as her own account holder and can not reply to the cancel email we have developed a way to help families cancel. You have the option of returning her equipment and we will cancel based on the postmarked date or we can send you the cancellation email and you may reply with your name and attached POA.
