Good system. Had no need yet to activate. Pressed Help button once by mistake, and was impressed by instant response. Only complaint: Help buttons did not stay glued to walls and side of cabinets.

The accidental pressing of the alarm is a bit of a nuisance- not sure how one gets around it though. Wish the charm had the ability to have a speaker in it (especially for the accidental pressings) so when away from base station the voice could be heard.

They have been most helpful and so courteous with all my dealings with them.

Bay Alarm Medical was very nice to deal with. The equipment came promptly, and set-up was easy. Customer service people are available to answer questions. The reason I didn't give them 5 stars is actually an equipment issue. We upgraded to include the automatic fall detection, and that unit is so sensitive that it goes off 3 or 4 times per week. When I take off my pendant, I carefully and gently set the unit down and it still triggers an alarm way too often. Sometimes it triggers just when I go to sit down in my recliner. I wish there was a way to adjust it so that it could tell the difference between a fall and a 1 or 2-ft. change in elevation.

Have had Bay Alarm only a few months. When I test it, it seems to be working fine. I hope I never need to use it, but feel safe just having it.
