Bought level 4 plates, took two weeks to ship, gets here, promptly stolen (obviously not their fault it was stolen), tried to get in contact with them for a solid week but never answered, a few times it seems like they declined my call. Worst customer service in the industry, will never shop their store ever again.

Poor customer service. They never sent the product I bought. No contact from Battle Steel either.

Ordered a set of level 4 plates & was told it would take 2 weeks for them to be shipped. No problem. 4 weeks later and nothing. Cancelled & ordered from another company that got me my order in a week & made in the USA.

Sent the wrong product. I ordered (and paid for) a level 3 hard plate and was sent level 3a soft armor. Update. 7/24/2022 I returned the incorrect item and they just sent it (or another lever 3a soft armor) back to me. Now I have to spend more gas money on driving across town to return the incorrect item they sent me AGAIN. I’m done with this company. Just requested a refund. Not sure how they stay in business. Do yourself a favor and order somewhere else. Look at there response to my original posting. Nothing to do with sending the wrong item. Extremely bad customer service. Yes, all the bad customer horror stories you’ve heard about Botach and now Battle Steel are correct.

At the moment I have to give a 1 star, I ordered my vest approximately two weeks ago I have not received my order and now I'm being asked to write a review, once I receive my order I will rewrite a review

I placed an order and they promised it would be shipped within 1-2 weeks. I've been waiting for my order for a month now. Stopped responding to emails. Also the item has not been shipped yet. I do not recommend working with them.

Battle Steel is a sub division of Botach, and for some reason they charge a premium compared to prices on Botach. also be aware their products may not be actually NIJ certified
