Battle born are nothing more than simple con artists. Selling Completely useless and dangerous batteries. And now they are suing Will Prowse that have all the truth and facts about their useless products. Let’s hope these scammers soon are vanished from this market

I have purchased 5 Battleborn 100 amp hr batteries over 5 years. 3 are used in my boat 2 in my trailer. Of the 5, 3 of them went bad. The first went bad about 18 moths after purchase. Customer service was incredible. They had the battery picked up, shipped back to their factory, tested and having found the battery was bad replaced it. Total turn around 3 days, I was impressed. Now mind you, that was before dragonfly implemented their current BS return policy. So at the time I was impressed and purchased 2 more batteries for my trailer. Less than a year later 1 of newly purchased batteries went bad. That’s when I found out that their customer service was now just an exchange of emails. New policy, send countless pictures of setup and connections, you pay to have the battery picked up and delivered to factory, ( about $250 ) you pay for their techs to test it ($150). It is now called rolling the dice. Fortunately for me the battery did test bad and they did replace it. More recently the third battery went south. This time (still through emails) dragonfly flat out told me it was my fault. They claim i let the battery sat idle without a charge for 6 months. Funny that the bad battery was connected in parallel with the other BB battery, and both connected to a charger and still they claimed it was my fault. Needless to say I no longer have anything good to say about this company I don’t know how if they can survive with their prices so high and very little customer service

My Battle Born unit suffered a severe thermal event where the internal components melted right through the outer casing and caught fire. These are marketed as premium, ultra-safe LiFePO4 drops-ins, but the internal structural design under high continuous loads failed dangerously. Absolutely cannot recommend given the extreme safety risk.

These batteries have a horrible warranty. You must pay shipping and then they charge you to test the battery. My cost was over 375$. 3 out of my 4 batteries had problems. That's after you spend a month going back and forth with them

The battery can catch on fire. Avoid at all cost.

Bought two BB10012 batteries in 2022. Both eventually failed with the same issue — voltage collapse under load even though they charged and showed normal voltage at rest. One battery is now completely dead and wouldn’t recover even after following their jump-start instructions. When I reached out for warranty help, they blamed it on charging/storage issues and tried to make me pay over $400 in shipping upfront just to have them tested, with no promise of getting that money back. Battle Born has gone downhill. Save yourself the headache and buy from a different company.
