Review for Batteries and Bulbs #185 - Columbia, MD 21045 6695-D Dobbin Rd.Staff opened the store 10 minutes late. Two people were waiting outside. Asian guy I spoke to to was rude. I will not shop at this store again. I will advise others to avoid this location due to their poor customer service.

Bought all these batteries for my watches and never got to use them because they all went dead... AND THE COMPANY IS NOT WARRANTING THEM!!! Plus manager wanted $11 (EACH) to install new replacement (BAD) batteries, until we discovered they were out of warrantee. Only good for a 1 year. I bought them, didn't get to use them, and now they're bad. Sales person said to pull the stems out and it wouldn't use up the charge. Now, when I call the manager said "Oh, that doesn't work" and they all last about a year. Funny, just when the warrantee expires!

I took my phone in to have the screen replaced. It was in 100% working order. They tested approximately 25 things prior to taking it apart. They put 5 new screens on it and lost all touch screen capabilities. The phone is basically a brick because it requires I put in a passcode once it’s been turned off and I can’t do that without the touch screen. The owner is offering to give me $125 for a now destroyed worthless phone. I will blast not to take your phone here. The techs both specifically said the owner would replace my phone, instead he’s offering me chump change. This is BS.

The worst store I’ve had the displeasure to visit in the US. I made an appointment on Friday online to get the screen and battery replaced for my phone. The Vista location had the white screen and battery so appointment for Saturday 09:00am. I get in there’s one person in the store he didn’t know about the appointment. After some searching: “yeah I got but I don’t have anyone to do it right now. Ooh and I only have the black screen”. I was like, whatever that’s fine. But he started to crawl back: “Well I rather have it done properly, there’s a white screen in the other location. She’s here tomorrow she can do that. I rather have it done properly, if you don’t mind.” I was like okay. I can wait another day. The appointment rescheduled with the note to bring a white screen for the next day 10:00. At 10:06 I come in, yet another millennial on his own... “I know nothing about an appointment” Starts typing: “Oh yeah I see it here. Well I am alone it takes 45 minutes and Ryan isn’t in so I can’t help you. Sorry about that.” I left the store holding my calm but I was so angry about this typical ineptness of millennials to plan and arrange stuff. WHat good is a digital appointment system when, your stock is not properly listed and managed. People don’t know you come and don’t prepare! This store is utterly useless. Perhaps hire some older more mature people who have some better work ethic and management skills.

PLEASE,do yourself a favor and stay away from this company, specifically the Fort Lauderdale location .I order "online" a battery for my car.Latter it was confirm by email to pick up and when i arrived ...they don't have it...the guy wanted to sell me a downgrade battery or a marine??? battery for my car???.Manager was not there (clocked-out) ,never called back with any apologies and still waiting for my money back....need it "manager approval" i was told, for canceling my order. Again, stay away.

My Garmin GPS internal battery was failing. I went to Batteries Plus Bulbs corporate web site, put in the model number of my GPS and the corporate site presented the battery they had for my GPS. I ordered from the corporate site and picked up at the local franchise shop. Turn out the corporate match of battery to my GPS was wrong! The connector looked right BUT it was not and it split the fitting on my GPS connector, rendering the GPS useless. I had to purchase a new GPS that is not as full featured as the one their connector ruined. I contacted Corporate but they tried to blame their local franchised dealer! It certainly was not the locals problem. Several calls since to Batteries Plus Bulbs but no replay to even split the cost to me of their error. Horrible ethics. Will never purchase from them again and I would warn any person considering a franchise with them to "watch out"!

They are a scam! Replaced my battery and back screen on my Note 5. They replaced the glass back screen with a junk piece of plastic and the battery, it lasted less than 2 weeks. They did replace the battery under 30 day return policy but the replacement battery crashed after 2 weeks rendering the phone unusable.

They are the worse. They do not honor the warranty that they sell with their batteries they do whatever they can to not give a new battery and tell you that is good. But when you take it it to a real mechanic and get your car inspected they will let you know the battery is bad. The duracell piece of crap of a battery is exactly what the company is. Crappy.
