I've been a customer of this store location for many years. I was willing to pay more for their products because of the good service and friendly staff. This store must have had a change in management because the jerk that abused both me and my wife today is insufferable. I bought two packs of identical specialty bulbs in late September, and before the first week in October one of them had failed. I brought the defective bulb and the original receipt and asked for a replacement. The guy that "helped" me was rude and obnoxious. He said he would not replace the defective bulb unless I brought the others I bought back as well. Did I mention he was a snotty hipster wannabe complete with a full beard and nearly unbearable B.O? All I wanted was for him to honor the promise I was given when I bought the bulbs "if you have any problems, just come back and we'll make it good". Granted, it was not the bun-head punk that gave me the promise, but a real salesman skilled in customer service. My wife called and asked what we needed to do to get our problem solved. She was told to bring the bad bulb back along with one of the others and we'd be made whole. She did go back, and then the very fellow that gave me the runaround announced that the bulbs were not the same! They were indeed from the same package of cheap Chinese junk that were sold to us. Stay away from this store - they are deceitful liars and cheats selling second rate crap at premium prices.

I took my phone into the Douglasville, GA store the service is terrible. Phone was taken in for screen repair. Batteries Plus Blub damage my phone. The technician verified it was functioning fine. When I got the phone back it was damage proximity sensor damage and home buttom broken this cannot be repair to leave the phone in the condition it was in. The manager will try to pass off some phone to replace your phone with 30 day warranty after this you are own your on. The manager does not care about complaint against his business with BBB (Better Business Bureau) nor does he care about his customers. I do not recommend this store or the service.

pleasant prairie and Racine Wi Batteries for Power chair rude and full of attitude. no help whatsoever. wasn't kind. and let a 50 year old lady carry 2 heavy batteries BY HERSELF! who does that? these stores do! they couldn't even open the door while she was carrying said batteries. either this store finds new people to run it, or they shouldn't exist. stores like these thrive on reviews and being helpful and since most of the reviews are bad, and they weren't helpful. that should say something about the store.

Purchased car battery 8/2018 Rect says FULL WARRANTY TILL 8/2020 Pulled it from car, drove crosstown, just to be told my FULL WARRANTY means they keep the battery for 24 hrs to check it. DOES NOT SAY THAT ON THE RECT THAT I PAID. Car is stranded till I drive back over there and either get my battery back or am given new one. Walmart would have sent me away with new one. Pep Boys would have sent me away with new one. Been a Business customer since Batteries Plus started out. That ended today. Whether batt is good or bad, they should not have let me leave angry. FULL WARRANTY doesn't mean stranding my car till late Monday.

Very rude, uninformed. Took them 3 days to discover that my new $225 car battery was not holding a charge. Manager was going to personally see if it was discharging. When I went back 6 hours later I was told the manager went on vacation. Rude condescending countermen.

This company is stuck in the stone age! I ordered a phone battery on-line because they offered a discount. I am disabled, and it is challenging for me to go out. Any trip out has to be pre-planned, so my husband was going to go pick it up for me. My phone is six, almost seven years old so it isn't easy to find a battery. The store was over 15 miles away, but all my information (Doctors, Therapy, etc.) was on my phone! The store wouldn't let my husband pick up the battery unless our last names were the same on the credit card. When we married 25 years ago, I had a business and kept my last name. These people don't care about their customers, only their bottom line. My husband went and paid cash for the battery, and now we are trying to get our money back from the credit card! Like we don't have enough to worry about!!!

Duluth, MN store on Miller Trunk Highway, incredibly bad service. I gave them my Galaxy s9 phone with a cracked screen, got it back with internal damage to the reception circuitry, so now I can't get a signal unless I am in the middle of town or next to a tower, had to wait several days to talk to a manager, who dismissed it as me trying to get a free phone from him, then he hung up on me. I contacted Batteries Plus customer service, and found out they had filled out paperwork claiming I had brought in a dead phone that they could not test, so someone tell me, why would I spend 300 dollars for a new screen on a dead phone ? they were rude and totally unprofessional, and treated me like this was all my fault, when all I want is my phone back to the way it was....working.

I would give the Pittsburgh group a minus 5 stars if I had the option. Buyer beware. Stay clear of this company. These people are rude arrogant and ignorant. I tried to work with two different stores in Pittsburgh. I found both managers to be abusing and accusing. Anthony the regional manager tries but he has incompetent managers. Two cases to prove this. I ordered a battery charger/ jump starter ask the sales person if it does both, he assured me it did. Not being mechanically inclined, I trusted him. However it was a jump starter not a charger/ jump starter. When I returned it I was told that’s what I ordered and it couldn’t be returned. The rep that told me it was a charger/ jump starter stood there and lied. On a second occasion, I purchased a boat battery. Had it in the boat for a week. The battery died. I tried twice to charge it however it didn’t hold a charge. I returned the battery and was told if it doesn’t hold a charge of 10 amps(a 12 volt battery) that it was something I did to the battery and it’s not covered. A $400 battery. They said they would call back in 2 business days. The didn’t. I had to call a week later. The spineless manager at McNight Rd had a worker take my call to tell me my battery wouldn’t be replaced.
