I have purchased many motorcycle batteries at batteries plus the last one that I purchased went dead I took it back to the store they said that it had to charged so they could check it, fine it’s under warranty charge it I will come back in two days to grab the battery. When I get there they hand me the battery with the receipt and they told me my battery was no good and they weren’t going to warrantee it I was quite surprised because the battery is under warranty how are you going to tell me that you’re not gonna take care of it so they have lost my business . And really sick and tired of buying stuff that never last and these companies always looking for a way to screw you when it fails. I want to write this review so I can tell as many people as I can about how they treat their customers they won’t stand behind their product the employees were rude about it I will never use batteries plus again and like I said I purchased three motorcycle batteries from them in the course of four years Maybe five years so I will never purchase another battery from batteries plus again and I hope that Anyone who has read thisWon’t buy one either

Went online and found the battery for my motorcycle when I went to the store they charged me $20 more for it and I had a 10% off code and they wouldn't give me that either this was the store in Ocala Florida if it wasn't for the fact that I had to get my motorcycle home I wouldn't have dealt with this store. When I found the battery online I called and talked to a girl there and confirmed the price and then when I got there it was a different story.

May 12 I visited store only to be met with the store employee without a mask. When asked by the other 2 patrons he made several excuses including the one he told me, just trust me I don't have it. I thought it was a rule that when in public you must wear a mask. Guess that doesn't apply to Batteries Plus, Ft Lauderdale.

I needed a replacement battery for my UPS and I found it was available at a local Batteries Plus Bulbs. So I ordered it from their website that clearly states: "To take advantage of curbside pickup, simply place your order online and select “Pick up in store” during checkout. When you receive the email indicating that your order is ready, call your store to confirm their hours, and then let them know you’d like your order to be brought out to you. It’s that easy!". After ordering I received a confirmation email that stated: "If you prefer curbside pickup, please call the store upon arrival and we'll walk your order out to you." So I drove to the store, called as directed and was told there was only one person in the store and he could not bring it out. So I asked that it be left inside the door and I would pick it up. Then I was told, no I had to sign the charge slip. I responded that will not happen, please just cancel the order - then I was told I needed to come in to sign the cancel order - REALLY! Next day I called the corporate office - Customer care - they responded corporate takes no responsibility for the email they sent or how the franchisee operates. Also corporate has no ability to cancel or refund orders. This is what happened to me at this particular store. I won't be supporting this company any longer. BTW I ordered a replacement for $17 less from Amazon - it will arrive tomorrow. Normally I have no issue paying more to support a local business who I can depend on for warranty service - but based on this experience I don't believe Batteries Plus Bulbs is a company I can trust at all.

18 months ago I bought a X2 power battery $40 for my Note4. Now it's swelling up real bad. I don't use the phone that much, I'm retired. I called about the life time warranty and was told I was out of luck. These batteries must be made FOR batteries plus because no one else sells them.

I purchased a brand new car battery at battery & bulbs. It still needed to be jump started. I had it checked out at different places but didn't find anything wrong. So I took my vehicle to my car dealership ant they told me the battery had a bad cell so there are times when it will show a full charge. The next day my vehicle needed another jump start ( about the 6th time) So I just decided to buy another battery. I took the old battery back to batteries & bulbs ( That is still under warranty ! ) and they refused a refund because they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Be careful hope they don't try reselling this battery at the west st paul store. Staff was friendly about though. P.S my car is now starting up fine now !

I was practically run off the freeway this morning by a driver of Batteries + Bulbs. The driver apparently didn't like that I was as close as I was behind him on the ramp. When trying to enter the freeway he snatched his van over in my lane causing me to get out of the lane I was currently driving in. He then forced me out of another lane to intimidate me because he had a van. Thank goodness the traffic was extremely light due to the Coronovirus. I didn't even have time to look to see if I was clear to go to the next lane in fear of having my car torn up and getting killed or injured. What type of employee is this driving around representing this company??

Wish I too could give this Company Zero stars. Had a need for a motorcycle style battery. I had purchased all my LED lighting recently (over $500.00 worth) so went there for this battery. I told them the requirements needed and the guy said he knew just what I needed. After spending my $60.00 found that this was NOT the right type needed. Went back and got the 14 Day return policy spill and couldn't do anything. Called the corp office and was sent to voice mail. Never heard back. Guess I'm the fool. Never again. Customer service is dead.
