We graduated sleep school tonight and it has been a life changing journey! Several weeks ago I was scrolling through Facebook while nursing my 20 month old, hoping he would drift off to sleep and I could put him in bed for a few minutes of freedom before my bedtime, when the Batelle ad popped up. The timing was perfect, I was beyond exhausted and needing a change but unsure how to go about it. Reading through their promise of sleep in 5 minutes or less and sleeping throughout the night seemed like a dream. I was skeptically hopeful. I talked it over with my husband and he said, “I’m so desperate for a change, I don’t even care if it’s a scam, let’s give it a shot.” (He clearly thought it sounded too good to be true as well) We signed up that night and were quickly met by a warm and welcoming team. The program itself is intense because there is so much healthy learning and processing for both parents and baby. Through every step, however, there is around the clock support. The Batelle team is so knowledgeable about child development. The process is extremely child centered and nurturing for parents and baby. When I say life changing, I mean life changing for every member of our little family! After a week of sleep school my son was falling asleep or settling within 2-3 minutes, with minimal wake ups and settling within less than 5 minutes at those wake ups! I am no longer sleep deprived and my sanity is returning, our marriage is already improving because we are not exhausted and actually have time to see each other in the evenings, and my older son is happier because mommy is more available at his bed time and in the mornings. We are so grateful for this program!! I wish that I would have had Batelle available when my older son was a baby!!

Batelle Sleep School is a diamond in the rough. Don’t group it in with other sleep training programs. It is NOT sleep training. It truly is a school to teach babies and children to choose to sleep with the supportive guidance of their parents. It is a child-led, play-based, gentle program that allows parents to actively support their child and slowly teach them to self-soothe and feel comfortable in their sleep space at their own pace. While we chose to night wean, the program is completely customizable, and some mamas in the group decided to keep some night feedings. I love that it was cohort style so we were able to learn from other parents and get communal support. Miss Megan created the Hug sleep sack/top sheet to give little ones a snug, comforting and safe sleep space. It gives them boundaries and keeps them safely in bed, so you don’t need to worry about them rolling off their mattress, while still allowing plenty of room to roll around and get cozy in bed. Miss Megan has a heart of gold and the way she created this program shows it. It’s not always easy and, like any learning process, there are ups and downs, but know that your little one has you and your help throughout the entire process, and you have the help of the Batelle family and Miss Megan. You have nothing to lose. Do yourself and your little one the favor of a lifetime, and enroll in this gentle program that will teach your whole family the value of love, support, trust and, of course, sleep.

I’m a mom of two kids that are both pukers. Cry it out never worked because it always ended the same way. When my 5 year old was younger we just gave up and coslept to get some sleep. With our 17 month old even cosleeping didn’t work. A month ago he was waking up 8+ times a night and my husband and I were a wreck. That’s when my husband found Batelle. I was skeptical. No way my child that had to be rocked to sleep and fed throughout the night was going to fall asleep on his own and stay in his bed until morning. I am happy to say I was wrong. Miss Megan’s Method and the oncall support from the Batelle team made it possible. Today is our last day of “Sleep School” and my son fell asleep within 15 minutes without me in the room and when he had a little wakeup in the middle of the night, I was able to calm him over the monitor without leaving my bed. I wish Batelle existed with my older child and I wish I had contacted them sooner with my youngest. It truly is the most amazing thing.

Our son was 10 months old and having trouble finding consistency sleeping. Luckily, we found the Batelle sleep school and were beyond impressed with the program! The tools provided by the Batelle system, combined with a breadth of knowledge and a team at our disposal 24/7 made sleep a lot less scary for our baby and for us. Even when our school session ended, the team was available to us for new issues that arose when we traveled, or when our baby was sick or teething. Pretty much any issue we can think of, the Batelle team has a solution or at least an approach to try to find a solution - together. Our family was lucky to find Batelle, if your child is having any issues with sleep, we couldn’t recommend it more!

If I could give a 10 star review, I would! The Batelle Team was so helpful with our 2 year old little girl and her poor sleep! A little background on my family; my boyfriend and I live in Ohio with our three girls (His daughter who is 10, my daughter who’s is 9, and our daughter who just turned 2 in January). We both work full time and have both struggled with little to no sleep since our youngest was born. After two years of sleep deprivation for both us and our little one, we sought outside help. During one of the middle of night wakes I stumbled upon the Batelle Sleep School and Miss Megan’s Method. We were both skeptical but desperate for sleep so we decided to invest in the process. We stated our sleep school with a toddler who co-slept; nursed to sleep; needed mom to put her to sleep; would wake frequently and needed to nurse to sleep again; didn’t nap very well; and refused others to help or run the bedtime routine. Our goals with sleep school were to help teach our daughter to learn to sleep without nursing, to allow others to help her with the bedtime routine, and to sleep through the night. After the two week school, our daughter has successfully weaned from nursing, sleeps in her own bed, and sleeps through the night!!!! We are still in shock but so thankful that we found the Batelle Sleep School and the team that taught us Miss Megan’s Methods! Without them, we would still be sleep zombies struggling through the day to day life. Thank you to The Batelle Team, Miss Megan, and all the other parents who were there to support us each step of the way!

The Batelle Team and Miss Megan were referred to my wife and I from a friend. Prior to the process, our child would require us to rock her to sleep and would take upwards of 1 hr or more to finally get her to bed, not to mention, she did not sleep through the night and required more rocking. In our opinion, the CIO method was definitely not what we wanted to do after throughly understanding the process; just a sudden harsh acclimation process instead of one with associative factors to relate rest, sleep, confidence, and security in the child. This being said, my wife and I were still skeptical in the time frame The Batelle team (Miss Megan's method) would accomplish their promises. We thought our child would be the one to give them a run for their money. On the contrary, the process really adapted to our varying schedule and routines and focused on getting our child to develop the appropriate associations for transition to self soothing, independent sleeping, and sleeping through the night.  We were shocked the progress we made just a few days in and definitely few more days after. The support the team provides is unparalleled. You never feel alone and even after success, till this day, we still have the Batelle team's support in the back of our heads. Miss Megan's commitment is not another sleep school; the team and Miss Megan are in a class above five stars and truly will be hard to compare to.

Batelle saved me! My 8m old had still never slept through the night and was only getting worse. I tried cry it out and it didn’t work long term. Miss Megan’s method gave my daughter the tools she needed to feel safe in her crib and within the 2 weeks of sleep school, we got rid of all of the negative sleep associations and replaced them with healthy ones. I’m amazed, my family is amazed. It was worth every cent!

Before starting sleep school with Batelle, my baby, my husband, and I were all severely sleep deprived. i was miserable and starting to wonder how I could ever be happy as a mom. I was up with my baby anywhere from 5 to 20 times each night. We could not figure out how to teach our little one to sleep longer stretches. We had tried everything we could imagine! We didn't feel comfortable with the methods that would require leaving him screaming and scared alone in his bed for any amount of time, and we were thrilled when we learned about Miss Megan's method. It's impossible for me to put in to words how grateful I am that this method exists and that the team at Batelle did such a great job supporting us as we taught our baby to feel safe and independent in his bed. Miss Megan's sleep training method taught my six-month-old baby to feel comfortable enough to trust us and choose to sleep, and it taught us how to support him with love and respect. There is no way to put a price on what we got out of sleep school with Batelle. I wish that every parent had the opportunity to learn from the excellent sleep coaches at Batelle. Miss Megan, you are an angel for all the work and expertise that you put in to developing this method and I credit Batelle for the happiness that I can now share with my well-rested baby. Before sleep school, I thought that he had a difficult temperament. It turns out that with enough restful sleep, he is a very sweet child. Thank you Batelle for giving me a happy baby!
