12m old refused to fall sleep on her own… not anymore thanks to Batelle!
Our 12m old went through a rough sleep regression after moving across the country a few months prior, and while she never was a “great” sleeper, she continually got worse and our parent sleep associations just kept getting worse and worse and it became a huge cycle we couldn’t get out of (naps became a struggle, bedtime took over an hour most nights, with multiple wake ups to nurse or just rock/be held back to sleep by either parent, would wake up as we transferred her down into crib and need to be fully asleep before any transfer worked). In came Batelle— we were 100% skeptical at first, but as previous reviewers stated, the money-back guarantee was enticing to just give it a try. There are other “sleep consultants” out there, but I really liked the 24/7 support and actually being able to communicate with them whenever needed to ask questions and in the middle of the night, if needed. It was definitely tough at first, we wanted to give up. I will say a few little things they had us do, we tweaked to make work with our family and our routines, but overall the main steps really do work after you get through the initial days of struggle. It is amazing how building the trust for the to sleep on their own and not needing you for any of it is truly worth the time and money. For us, it took longer the 14 days, but only because the beginning was a rough start. Once we were in middle steps, it truly was magical seeing her sleep on her own each night without our help. She now falls asleep on her own after we say goodnight to her and has no wake ups. We are finally well-rested parents and happier in the day to day, all because of Batelle.
