I have one dog and two cats. One of the cats has developed some allergies (scratching himself raw under his chin and on his neck). Vet recommended changing from plastic bowls to stainless steel and changing protein source in his food. After doing some research decide it would make the most sense to find bowls that would resist rusting and that contained limited traces of other undesirable metals. THis company was one of the few I found that produced stainless steel bowls with good quality control. Purchased three stainless steel bowls, one for dog's water and two for cat food. Bowls are heavy and feel quite substantial. Cats have no problem eating out of them since they are wide and don't bother their whiskers. Have only had them for a week, but if they last for a while they are definitely worth the price!

The bowls seem like they are really good quality and are sturdy. Feel really good knowing where the material came from and that they are safe for my dogs. They are more expensive than pet store bowls but they seem worth it and we are happy with them. Company shipped them quickly and packaged them well.
