Basis Pet (Not Basic Pet)Reviews of basispet.com

I wasnt sure what size bowl to order for my new goldendoodle puppy. I sent this question in an email to Basis, but, instead of waiting for a response I just went ahead and ordered the small bowls. Not long after, I received an email from Basis saying that they received my question, see that I've ordered the small, but let me know that I'd likely prefer the large as the puppy could grow into it and it would prevent me from having to buy a larger bowl later. They changed my order for me and the bowls arrived very quickly. The bowls are what I expected, and I am glad that I'll be able to put them through the dishwasher.

I recently purchased two dog bowls from Basis Pet because I wanted bowls with safe and well characterized materials along with fundamentally good design. The service was outstanding, and the company helped us get the correct size bowls for our needs. Processing and delivery could not have been more efficient. After receiving and using the bowls for about a week I can say that the all around design is excellent. The gauge of the stainless steel is well selected trading off good durability and heft against practical considerations of cost and usability. The shape of the bowls also shows good design with well rounded inside surfaces that let the dog easily get to all of the contents; sides that are high enough to contain the contents while not obstructing the pet's access; and open edges that will not trap moisture or food. I had some concerns before receiving the bowls that the open edges might seem sharp, but to the touch, the edges feel like they were polished or blunted to diminish any sharpness and associated hazards. After about a week, I am very pleased with the products, the service, and the overall experience with Basis Pet.

I was looking for real stainless steel dog bowls and all you find in petsmart , Petco, target etc are all made in China or India. The problem is those are not 100% stainless steel and could possibly harm your pet. After having lost a pet to cancer and not knowing what caused it- I was glad I found basis pet who specialize in what I needed! I will be ordering a 2nd set to have when traveling

Hi quality, well designed shape dog bowl. I have 92lb Boxer and the large although looking small at first is actually a good size! Because of the rounded bottom he can eat his raw food much easier than from a standard dog bowl. It was slightly too small to fit into his feeder station but we split some plastic tubing and put it around the rim of the feeder and now it fits perfectly! Very happy with my purchase and so is he!

The bowl is fantastic! Hefty so it won't tip over, and with an actual bowl shape, which allows my picky eater to get all his food out of the bowl. And the brushed stainless is beautiful!

The large bowls and medium stands were PERFECT for our dogs! I have three large puppies (50 to 70+ lbs) who have been notorious for knocking their food bowls over and food scattering everywhere. Since we started using these Basis pet food bowls and the stands, the only food on the floor is what comes out of their mouths as they walk around checking out each other's food bowls. One of the pups even decided to step on the food bowl on the stand to get over it to reach me on the other side, and the food bowl and stand never moved. I did get the single bowl stands because I wanted the versatility of placing the stands in different locations depending on the pups' moods during feeding times. I haven't tried these with water since I am already using another brand's double bowl stand for water (purchased when the pups were born so that the mother could have a drink/food in peace without the pups reaching into her stuff). If I had known about Basis months ago, I'd have everything Basis now. The other brand's stand is flimsy and wobbles alot. I cannot praise Basis products enough. The price is steep, but the quality is excellent!

Quality products, fast ship and arrival time! ergonomic bowl perfect for cats eating habits. They actually finish all the wet food in the dish with its embossed design, and no whiskers don't get in the way. Good weight dish, and made in USA. Doesn't get better!

I've been looking for pet bowls in stainless steel with the curved bottom for a long while. Liked the look of these and decided to give them a try. Was afraid they would be lightweight and not remain in place while my cats were eating, but was pleasantly surprised by the substantial weight and quality. Stayed in place just fine. I like that they are USA made too. Perfect bowl and perfect size. I'm thinking about ordering the larger bowl for water. Great quality, great service! Ordered the bowls on a Sunday evening and had them at my door on Wednesday. Thanks again.
