EDIT: Excellent customer support from Larissa. I would recommend the product team to focus on * Separate payments towards a single invoice (not currently supported) * Make it clearer how to use ACH and manually enter bank account details, my tenant panicked when plaid asked for her bank login and decided she would continue using Zelle * Consider moving direct ACH Deposit into personal checking into the free plan since this is a feature I can get with other free fintech products. Earn my business by making me want the other features, not by withholding table stakes. Right now it has been over 5 days since rent was paid and its still not available. After it becomes available, it takes another 3 days to transfer to my bank. If I were to go back to venmo I would have it instantly arrive on venmo and it would take 2 days to transfer. For tenants who have zelle, it instantly arrives. That is over a week faster in all cases. Sometimes as much as 9 or 10 days faster. Baselane is not a good fit if you want your payment in a reasonable timeframe.

After I submitted this review below, I was contacted by head of customer service the very next day. Larissa helped me to resolve the issue by removing the connection and re-establishing connection. Thank you. I would still ask Baselane to have better logging so the user knows what is going on OR at least they know what is going on from logs. ------------------------------------------------------ I linked a baselane account to my external bank account to move funds into baselane account. The link was established but everytime i tried moving money it allows me to do everything succesfully but no money moves and there is no record of me submitting such a transaciton even. Upon asking customer service they have no record of the multiple attempts I have made. If there is no audit log of such activity how can one be convinced this company can handle money?

Update: Once threat of legal action was submitted, and a few levels of management later they were able to resolve the issue. I am filing criminal charges for theft and suing for violating their client contract. They are unable to provide the funds collected on my behalf to me via ACH, check or cash. Incompetent at best, a Ponzi scheme at worst. Do not use.

As a landlord, I got off to a poor start with this company. Funds were stuck for 2 weeks. They did eventually resolve it to my satisfaction.

With some issues that I had come across after giving feedback I did get a positive response from their office that those concerns will be looked into for a better experience going forward.

I really want this company to succeed, but their customer service is pretty horrible. They do have an 800 number that states they are open from 9 to 4. Not true. When I call during that time, they don't answer their phone, so it's pointless. I've been trying to open up a bank account for days and everybody involved has been extremely incompetent. What makes it more frustrating is that you can't talk to a human being. So you go back and forth over and over again with emails, and as of today, it's still not resolved.

I really like the app and how easy and convenient it is to set up and manage my rental properties. I use it to collect rent and keep the security deposits safe. The only negative from my perspective is how long it takes for a manual deposit to process. It says 3 business days but it has consistently been taking more than that, even when the originating source has already released the funds. The deposit does not show in the Baselane app, not even as a pending transaction. This is a gap. With it taking more than 3 business days, that means it could potentially take over a week for a deposit to process and I have monthly obligations that need to be paid with that money. This means that at times some of these payments will be late even if a deposit was made well in advance. Please address this.

I like the application, I cant complain but when you need support, it lacks effort. I scheduled a session with support and never got a call from them, not even a follow up. so learning is pretty much on your own time and effort.
