There are still features that will be very great to have or to be have come back, which I know are already on the table for consideration.

User-friendly and Automation of landlord responsibilities are great. It's super easy to navigate their platform as a renter/landlord. I wish they would allow for old tenants to be removed, as I have not successfully completed this task yet.

Great online bank + property finance tool. I've used other tools in the past. The combination of banking with instantaneous creation of virtual accounts, accounting features such as tagging transactions (some are automatic), and tax reports make this a great tool. They continue to make improvements including adding checks to 3rd parties. Adding some typical features such as recurring automatic transactions and options for tags for other related industries would make this a 5 star tool.

It is one of the best compared to other free tools for landlords, but it can be number one worldwide if Baselane stays free and keeps adding more features every month.

UPDATED: Revising from 1 to 4 stars. See original review below due to two factors. First, the account was magically opened a week or so after I wrote this. Then a few days later, one of their Customer Support Team people I was working with wrote a very detailed explanation and apology for the way this was handled. We did a call regarding the matter and she went over all of the steps in which the process failed on their end, as well as the ways in which they are going to use this experience to improve their service. Given how rarely this happens nowadays that any company takes responsibility and action in such a transparent way, we're going to go ahead and set up our Baselane account. Completely incompetent. We are a self-managed HOA that was really excited about the prospect of using a single platform integrated with banking for our needs. It took them SIX WEEKS to 'review' our application for a bank account. After multiple escalations and explanations they requested the same exact documents which we told them we do not have (as in they do not exist because of our formation status). Pretty much forced us to waste all that time. The negative review is not because they declined to open the account (although we have had no issue opening bank accounts with the same documentation in the past.) It's because of the length of time this took and the total lack of even so much as a boilerplate apology in the end. In reply to my final email to them asking to explain how on earth we landed right back to where we started, I got "I'm going to go ahead and close this conversation for housekeeping 😊." I wouldn't trust them with anything.
