Nick deCurtis was an excellent resourse. He answered questions and handled problems quickly and efficiently. Nick always felt like a friend/brother on the other end of the phone and listened well. Nick was an excellent sounding board for working out details and made sure I had everything I needed. He checked in at least weekly and was encouraging when needed.

Kat Corbiey Is my general surgery locums recruiter and she’s fantastic. She’s proactive in finding work that suits my preferences and skill set to ensure a good fit. Shes highly available to communicate by text phone and e-mail. She offers fast turn around time for any assignment updates. Shes accessible, affable and highly able—making her my top go-to across all locums agencies I work with. Also, rates are very appropriate. Some companies offer very high rates but never come through with work…other agencies offer very low rates and get you busy working for Pennies , making both options unsustainable. Barton associates definitely offers fair, appropriate and realistic compensation rates and they deliver on securing great assignments.

The high efficiency of the staff is very impressive. The location of assignments are satisfying as well. Services are as good as they should be .

I have been working with Barton Associates for 10 ish years now and have completed more than 30 assignments, all successfully, and one nearly a year long. If I had to choose one thing that has put this company over the top, it is the person who is assigned to be your contact person. My person is Doug and he is based in Boston. He ensures that every little detail about my housing, my payment, credentialling, happiness in my work setting, and every other little thing is just right. He is a caring and compassionate person when I tell him about a rough patient that I've seen, a big glitch in my workday or just have a question about my paycheck. He is my contact person to Barton's vast array of services to ensure my success in my actual journey. Barton takes care of everything, I just have to supply them with the information that they need to make everything happen. I did an assignment for another company once, and it was good. But I had to do quite a bit for myself such as finding housing, running down a paycheck error, navigating credentialling with the facility myself and other things. I enjoyed the assignment but not the work it took to get there and stay there. With Barton, consistently over the course of 30+ assignments, I've had it all taken care of for me. I'm sure there are other people like Doug who take care of their providers, and just as well. But Doug is mine. And Barton clearly knows how to do locums the right way by giving me someone like Doug to run point. The negotiated pay rate is competitive and the contracts are very fair. They really work to send you to the kind of assignment you seek. 10/10 If you are thinking of locums, give them a call and ask all your questions. I have truly loved working with them.
