No Customer service replies
I received my order but the quality of the items wasnt what i expected, i have been trying to make a return but after many emails in 5 days trying to get return information i have not received any replies.

Beware - May be a scam company
08/10/2025 - Update from the company response below - I have emailed as requested, about 5 times and still no response... 100% SCAM - STAY AWAY ordered a pair of boots. They look nothing like advertised, very tacky and bad quality. So far I have tried to contact the company around 20 times to request how to return the product and no reply at all. Please do not shop with this company, it seems like a scam.

Poor Service
The shoes run small and are not very sturdy. They promise easy returns but no one replies when you try to initiate a return. I've sent several emails and I'm still waiting on assistance and a return label. I would NOT recommend this company.

Beware do not purchase from this…
Beware do not purchase from this company. I will say it again do not purchase from this company. I ordered three pairs of shoes when I realized they were not the ones I actually wanted. I contacted them right away and asked them to cancel the order. They did not respond to me until after the order shipped and then told me that they couldn’t do anything, but once the order arrived to contact them and they will tell me how to return. The order arrived. The shoes were very cheaply made the material felt very stiff and uncomfortable not stitched. Well I would say it would be something that you would get below Walmart when I asked how to return. They told me that they could only offer an exchange or 30% back. I did not want to exchange them so I am fighting for a full refund.

If there were negative stars that is…
If there were negative stars that is what I would give. DO NOT BUY, their items are cheap, smell and they do not take returns. Waste of money, buy something else. Do not be suckered into their photoshopped ads claiming top quality. CHEAP and can't return

Please do not buy..
Please do not buy... I bought a pair of shoes, got them, and they were completely different than the picture. Quality is poor. I initiated a return and received a generated response. I've provided the information you asked for, and it has been two days, and there has been no follow up with instructions to return.

Well. I would like to SINCERELY THANK all the ppl who took the time to share their HORRIBLE EXPERIENCES with Trust PILOT. This platform is my go to so that I can CHECK OUT companies that I never dealt with. Your HONEST reviews kept me from PLACING an order with Bareroots Footwear and being SCAMMED outta my HARD EARNED $$$ as well because I will not order from this company. I think that this company should be banned from the internet and even conducting business to the public based on these horrible reviews and the fact that they are not transparent. It's bad enough that the products are CHEEZY and THEN to have to CHASE a MAKESHIFT company around the GLOBE due to inconcise INFORMATION the company should be AUTOMATICALLY DISBANNED. Thanks again to the people who share their experiences with Trust PILOT and I want you to know that Trust PILOT does work.

I got scammed
I feel like such an idiot for being tricked by a beautiful picture. I did not do my due diligence. If I had I would have known this company is a front and scamming people out of their hard earned money. I ordered a beautiful pair of boots that I’m sure they photographed from some reputable wed site. I got these boots and immediately realized I’d been scammed. These boots are a joke. They stink, they look nothing like the picture, they didn’t even have the laces. The packaging looked like a black trash bag, which is appropriate because the boots are trash. Oh well, buyer beware. Stay away from this company. I wish there was a way I could truly save everyone else the embarrassment of realizing they got ripped off because that’s exactly what you’ll get, scammed and ”RIPPED OFF.”
