Bareroots FootwearReviews of bareroots-footwear.com

Product in picture on site is NOT what is received. The website shows shoes comparable to Birks. What was received was thin, cheap material of poor construction. The smell from I’m guessing the glue used to make them was horrendous!!! You could smell it through all the packings. They lie and steal your hard earned money! Need to be shut down. Beware!! Please heed the warning! You’ll lose your money.

Responding to my reply to my previous review- I received an email on 11/30 that my shoes are arriving soon. Today is 12/26. I was trying to attach a photo of the email but don't see a way to attach it. Anyway no need to ask me again to contact customer service again- I do it regularly and as I mentioned- no way to track the shipment.

The discrepancies between the 2 slipper shoes were horrible. I wish I could upload a picture. I e-mailed the company and let them know. Their response, "that due to the handmade nature of the product, there may be slight variations in the cotton content. This is considered normal for this type of item and does not affect its quality or normal wear." SLIGHT (OK, I could do slight), these were not even close. Once again, wish I could upload a picture!

If I had the option to give them a negative score I would have based off the fact that I never received my package and they're trying to lie and say that I did even though I have cameras all around my house to show otherwise. Then when you reach out to them they don't even respond when you ask them for a refund. So, they are actually stealing from people because they took my money and they never delivered the product that they promised. So now I am looking into legal actions since they refuse to make the situation right by returning my money.

The shoes were poorly made and didn’t fit properly. I have had no luck getting a return label after many emails. They even had the nerve to ask me to take a photo of my foot to see why they were not fitting. Seriously don’t waste your money.

Bought a pair of boots that looked really cute. They arrived and were basically trash. The worst part was the lower part had what felt like an internal piece of cardboard that was the support of the bottom. When you put foot in, it folds inside the fabric so it just doesn’t feel right or good. Beyond disappointed. Would never buy this brand again. Hoping they get back to me on return/refund!

There 30day return is a joke I bought some boots they hurt my feet very uncomfortable emailed to return they said I have to pay to ship back went to UPS what a joke $120.00 to ship back DONT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY..

Terrible company and so far fraudulent. I ordered boots two months ago and still have not received my order. You can only communicate online too. No number to reach them at. They keep saying my order is being sent but I still have not received it. I told them to just refund me and they emailed me back saying they have to charge me a restocking fee?? For an order I’ve never received and they probably never sent out. I have had so many back and forth emails and never get my order. Never again with these online companies that have no number to reach them at. I have to file a claim with my CC company now. Disgusting, they claim in their website that have high reviews. They are a deceptive company.
