So well structured and curriculum covered what it needed to

I would really recommend Barbri for flexible learning. The adaptable, personalised study plan made it easy to keep up, even around a full-time job, by incorporating the daily tasks into things like my commute and walking my dog. In this way I passed first quintile so it seems to work!

The course prepared me well for the exam and I am happy with the outcome. I laid out an easy to follow guide which gave me sufficient knowledge for each of the sections.

I stuck to the Personal study plan and did all 400 hours in 20 weeks and all activities. I trusted the process which enabled me to pass SQE1 first time. However, questions were harder in real life which made exam very stressful.

Excellent course prep, focused on what’s important and needed to pass.

The books explained the topics covered clearly, yet as I got to know later they did not cover in full what we are tested on. I learned this from the exam where I had questions on points not covered by the course. The lectures need to be updated. They are dated compared to the books and some parts are not explained in there. The material drawback of the course is the Mocks and practice questions. They have no relevancy in terms of structure, difficulty, length and technique to what we had in SQE. I would say that I passed SQE MCQs due to my deep understanding of the topics, doing revise SQE. I would have given the full 5 stars if Barbri would have restructured the course so that it trained us heavily on SQE MCQ questions style. One last point, the spaced reptation did not work for me. I had to memorize in order to recall the information. Barbari could have facilitated this by doing mind maps, DR timelines that would have saved me lots of time

The lectures and materials were clear and self-explanatory, even for someone without a common law background. The course also provides a well-structured study programme that makes such a broad and demanding syllabus much more manageable.

The course was very well structured, clear and easy to follow. However, the mocks and other tests are too different from the actual exam. Additionally, there were some inaccuracies in the questions and having the questions withdrawn closer to the exams was not ideal. Finally, the updates to the law definitely need to be integrated better in the course.
