I think Barbri is the gold standard for…

I think Barbri is the gold standard for Bar Prep. The website works well and is easy to navigate as well as the app counterparts. I wish adaptibar was included in Barbri because frankly there would be no other reason to not go with Barbri. As a student a big selling point for Themis is the QBank being included. The lectures were decent for the most part. However, my main complaint is that the course companion is a little janky. I also would prefer longer videos if it meant covering more of the greyed out text since that content is still important, as most if not all of the essays for July 2026 had rarely tested components. If not longer videos, then more emphasis or specially set aside time in the PSP for reading/studying the greyed out portions. The feedback from an actual person on essays and MPTs were extremely helpful instead of AI feedback like other companies. The multiple choice sim was great as well as the post review videos. I wish we could have had the written sim exam graded by graders too.

The course prepared me well for the exam and I am happy with the outcome. I laid out an easy to follow guide which gave me sufficient knowledge for each of the sections.

Trust the process
I stuck to the Personal study plan and did all 400 hours in 20 weeks and all activities. I trusted the process which enabled me to pass SQE1 first time. However, questions were harder in real life which made exam very stressful.

SQE 1
PSP helped me prepare for the SQE 1 in a strategic manner. Simulated mock tests could be improved to ensure that they resemble with the difficulty levels of the SQE 1 exam.

Good experience with some modifications
I liked the pace of the program and that I could skip or remove things that I had already done. It was easy to jump ahead when I needed to. The program needs to integrate better AI though, I didn't feel like it targeted my weak points enough. I also think some of the questions, especially near the end, got way too niche and made me feel worse about my understanding and ability than better. Additionally, having to pay for Adaptibar separately, which is what really got me to pass the MBE portion, feels like a rip off when Themis has UWorld integrated.

I enjoyed the videos
I enjoyed the videos, although I think it would be helpful to include more required questions. The most recent exam seemed to cover more niche topics than the general topics that were focused on.
