The books explained the topics covered clearly, yet as I got to know later they did not cover in full what we are tested on. I learned this from the exam where I had questions on points not covered by the course. The lectures need to be updated. They are dated compared to the books and some parts are not explained in there. The material drawback of the course is the Mocks and practice questions. They have no relevancy in terms of structure, difficulty, length and technique to what we had in SQE. I would say that I passed SQE MCQs due to my deep understanding of the topics, doing revise SQE. I would have given the full 5 stars if Barbri would have restructured the course so that it trained us heavily on SQE MCQ questions style. One last point, the spaced reptation did not work for me. I had to memorize in order to recall the information. Barbari could have facilitated this by doing mind maps, DR timelines that would have saved me lots of time

The course was very well structured, clear and easy to follow. However, the mocks and other tests are too different from the actual exam. Additionally, there were some inaccuracies in the questions and having the questions withdrawn closer to the exams was not ideal. Finally, the updates to the law definitely need to be integrated better in the course.

I was expecting a little more from BarBri. I learned a lot but was slightly disappointed with my experience.

I felt like the lectures prepared me decently, the essays however constantly lagged on me when typing, making it hard to simulate testing conditions and maintain flow of thought

The video's were ok. Contracts was really boring. Need to put Doug Moll on that one. The animated videos are cheesy. Focus more on writing make it fun if possible. I failed the bar by 4 points but did complete the entire Barbri course. I need more help writing. So likely it is just me and not Barbri.

Repetition of Example is good for memorisation but concepts should repeat not the same example or examples text. As it seems that the example questions will besame but they far different and only the concept is being tested in exams

SQE 1 course was very good. SQE2 course lacked structure and was not very similar to the real exam.

I like the structure and the layout of the course. The study guides are very good at digesting complex law into bite size pieces. I felt the multiple choice questions weren't representative of the actual questions in the SQE1 exam.
