Terrible customer service I will never recommend to anyone nothing with the problem

I sent in a brand-new Valentino belt bag that had tags and was told that they would pay out $250. Even though that was a low-ball offer, I figured I would just take the cash for an item that I wasn't using. It took them over a week to basically tell me that the item was rejected. They didn't even give a reason for it! Now they are shipping it back and it requires a signature. The only thing that they are providing me with is a $10 coupon for their website! This seems like a scam and a huge waste of time. I am just hoping I actually get my real item back.

Awful experience selling a bag. Received conflicting email messages regarding item being accepted and later rejected with no explanation. This item was in excellent condition.

I sold my item to Bag Borrow or Steal, hoping for a smooth process. Unfortunately, it took more than 6 business days just to authenticate my item. After authentication, I was told to wait an additional 3 to 7 business days for payout via PayPal — which they haven't even processed. Despite reaching out multiple times for updates, I only received generic, copy-paste responses with no real answers or clear payout date. This experience is a stark contrast to Fashionphile and Rebag, both of which authenticated and paid me within 24 hours via direct deposit and kept me well informed throughout. Selling should be quick and transparent. If you want fast payment and reliable communication, avoid Bag Borrow or Steal and go with Fashionphile or Rebag instead.

Very slow to send money.

I have purchased a few handbags from Bag Borrow or steal and have always been happy with them UNTIL I tried to sell back one. I only carried it for maybe 4 months and decided to sell it back to them. They responded to me that due to the "condition" of the bag they would not purchase it back. I complained and they called me. I told them the bag is in the same condition as when I bought it. The rep said it was because it had previously been a rental that they were not interested. I WAS NOT told when I purchased the bag it had been a rental and had no further value to them. I am verry unhappy with Bag Borrow or Steal.

Return policy is dishonest if bag condition is not as advertised.
