Daisy loves her new food
Daisy loves her new food. She is more active and has healthy poops. Thanks.

Founded by actress and animal activist Katherine Heigl, we create products made with some of the healthiest foods on Earth — like premium, hearty beef from suppliers who care about the humane treatment of animals, as well as hand-selected superfoods for canine health. We also make it a priority to employ safe, responsible cooking practices by slow-cooking and air-drying our dog food to ensure maximum freshness and nutritional content. It’s all the good stuff your dog needs to thrive, with none of the bad. Named for her ranch in Utah where the Heigl Family rescues animals, Badlands Ranch stands for treating every dog with love and respect. That’s why it is a proud sponsor of the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation and its rescue efforts, medical care, obedience training, and placement of dogs in happy, loving homes. With every purchase of a Badlands Ranch product, you’re not just helping your dog achieve a healthier life… you’re helping another dog in need find a forever home.

We have a 13 year old Rottweiler who is partially blind, on insulin twice daily for the last 5 years and having difficulty with his rear legs not due to hip dysplasia but spinal issues. Since starting super food for meal toppers and snacks he is much brighter and alert. In addition I supplement his meals with home cooked beef and chicken livers. He is even getting up easier. All the pad pads and pad grippers were not really helpful. Yet on our hardwood floors he is still getting up easier. Hates area rugs (eschews anything that might give him more traction- go figure) I can only attribute this to dietary changes Thank you for a healthy alternative to kibble

My 14 year old, 7 lb. Havanese, Bella, is an extremely picky eater—always has been. I am always looking for things to add to what I make her, which is chicken with fresh veggies. Badlands is the first thing that she has absolutely loved and eats it out of her bowl first. I can tell a difference in her activity level. She runs more on our walks, giving me more of a workout because I have to jog to keep up with her now. Any other type of harder food or kibble I always would find picked out and left strewn around the outside of her bowl, but not Badlands Ranch. I have a much younger 12 lb. Havanese, Baxter, that loves it as well, but he is so energetic that it is difficult to see a difference—lol. I believe his coat is growing faster than normal though. As a side note, I just recently noticed that when my dog trainer comes over to take them out and work with them before they have finished all their food, my Ragdoll cat, Chloe, heads straight to their bowls and actually eats the Badlands Ranch pieces out of their food. She apparently loves it as well!

Our 4 year old Havanese was weaned onto frozen raw. We have cut her current 2 nuggets to one and now add 1/4 cup of Badlands twice per day. She also gets 2 squirts of a Salmon supplement. She has always been an excellent eater. We have not noticed a difference, but know that she is eating top brand products. Because Badlands contains pumpkin, we stopped adding it separately.

I have added this as a supplement To my home made dog food. Our three elderly chihuahuas LOVE the taste. We had no tummy issues with our sensitive boy. The only issue we have is with the food size. My dogs have only a few teeth each so I have to put it through the food processor then sprinkle over their food.

Hazel loves the Superfood Complete! We use it primarily as a topper and for treats but are considering making it her sole food.

Our 3 dogs love this dogfood !!! We have 2 little ones - a Maltese (he is a rescue ) and a Maltipoo. We also have a black lab that was our son's dog. When our son died 5 years ago, we became his adopted parents at 1 1/2 year old. We do have to mix Badlands dog food with a standard dogfood due to cost. When they hear the bag being opened, they come running and will always eat your food first !

I am really pleased so far with this food. Chief and Blue enjoy it and I see less itching and more energy from them. So far it has been a success.
