I ordered Badlands Ranch beef dog food for my two 9 yo yorkies. I received the food in a timely manner. The food is EXTREMELY hard pellets. My senior dogs are not able to chew it. I called Customer Service and while she was nice I found I would have to pay the return shipping for 3 bags. She told me to crumble it with my hands and again it was too hard to do this. She finally offered a discount to keep it. I can’t recommend this brand for senior dogs or dogs that can’t chew extremely hard food. My dogs eat soft food and also hard kibble but the kibble is chewable and this food is not. I would have to grind it in a blender to serve.

I was never able to transition my dog to using Badland Ranch only as she didn't tolerate it but I used it as a small topper. When she was recently diagnosed with Stage 1 Kidney Disease, I inquired as to the phosphorus content and they would not share that information, saying the ingredients are proprietary. Not a selection for senior dogs and why won't they publish Phosphorus content like other dog foods are willing to do?

The products are good, the liver treats are great. HOWEVER, you just can't depend on reliably being able to repurchase products. Looks like poor management to me. Out of stock issues and they use "fly by night" shippers I've never heard of. Disappointing.

Wonderful Dog food. My dog loves it, great ingredients and seemingly healthy. However, the marketing is insufferable and infuriating. I can see through every marketing scheme and I'm on the brink of switching dog foods because the smarmy transparent, soul-less email blasts which make me believe there is a disconnect between Katherine's ethics with animals and the lack thereof in the marketing strategy. I buy the dog food - I don't need 4-6 emails a day promoting me to spin a wheel for a discount that doesn't exist. I love it when business's products speak for themselves....

I signed I ordered too many by mistake I thought my purchases didn’t go through so I have multiple charges I hope they fix it soon I need to buy healthy food for my Fantantic Fur baby

I purchased a super20 subscription a while ago. Months ago. I only need two jars a month but there wasn’t an option for that and since I have two dogs, I was forced to get the 3 jar subscription. When I first signed up, it said I could pause my order any time, any month I wanted. I tried multiple times, different months, to pause my subscription because of my surplus of jars and how expensive the product it is. I wanted to use of some of the product before more came. There was an option for it online but nothing would ever go through. Kept saying couldn’t be processed. Well, I went on to try again and now the option is gone and says I have to call. So I do. I told them, all I want to do is pause for one month because I have a surplus of jars. She said she would do it. Looks up my account and says she can’t do it because I purchased through PayPal. I said that’s BS and poor customer service. I explained how this whole thing keeps changing. It shouldn’t matter what my payment method is because my information is still my information. So I requested if we could change my payment method and she said yes but I would have to cancel my current subscription and restart another one… which again is bs and poor customer service imo. It shouldn’t be hard to update payment information on a current account with longevity. So I got mad and said cancel the whole thing. I’m undecided if I even want to restart this subscription because it’s expensive and honestly, after my dogs being on it for multiple months now… I’m not sure if it’s even making any difference in their health. Nothing is overtly obvious. I wouldn’t mind continuing the product if perhaps they were true to their word, when you first sign up and they were forth coming on the stipulations to pausing for a month. Not to mention the price is expensive and if I could customize the amount of jars I need, instead of being forced to purchase more than I need, to accommodate for dose, for two large breed dogs, and not be forced to pay more per month because of it. The whole thing is ridiculous and based on all the poor customer service reviews I have been reading, on multiple different sites, is feels like a money grab. And when a product starts to feel like a money grab you start to question the quality and sincerity of the actual product and person pushing it.

I like the food so far, but you sent me a coupon code to use after a survey and it was not valid with my subscription. Why send it if I can's use it on my order.

So it might be a great dog food nutritionally. I can't honestly comment on that because I am not going to be able to afford purchasing this dog food in the future. So if you're an extremely wealthy person and you can afford it it might be good for your dog. For most of us though this food is so overpriced it's ridiculous. It is the most expensive one I have found in the fresh or unkibble type dog foods out there. It makes it impossible for the average person to purchase this for their dog. It was going to cost me over $450 per month to feed my 50 lb Golden Retriever and my 3 lb chihuahua. I have tried several of the fresh and unkibble type foods out there and this is not one that I will be able to purchase moving forward. I purchased one bag and it is not much bigger than my hand. I will use it just for treats and not purchase in the future. I will say though their customer service is very helpful and kind and easy to get ahold of. They do have that going for them
