Way too expensive yet promoted as "affordable"!
To be honest I was incredibly excited to try this food, my dog Reba is my our baby! She is a 90lb Rottweiler who is an actual service animal for me. The cost of this food for one month for her is literally more than we spend on two months of groceries. I watched so many videos and went through several different options of healthy dog food and chose this seeing as it was so called "affordable". Our combind income is above the average household and this is by far the most expensive option and disappointing. The three bags ran for around $100 (with a discount at that). All three would last my dog a little over a week and half. I asked to return the order, seeing as we can not afford that pricetag and was met with having to pay for shipping, not receiving the refund until the order is confirmed delivered to them and than have wait 3-5 business days for the returned funds. It took over two weeks to arrive to me and yet I have to pay to return something I'm dissatisfied with. My dog does like the food so we decided to keep it, after given the advice from the sales person on the phone to make it a topper to her not so expensive food which is still pretty pricey, However, I did find that option redundant to their entire message. I really did believe that this was a company that not only cared for dog health but also could make it affordable for all pet lovers not just the wealthy. Seeing that's not the case I beg the question (understanding this is a business) when do you draw the line drawn between profits and greed?
