shopping the site was excellent!! However I order for a gift 3days before I wanted to there and in the same state and they got it a week later. Now I understand that there was a holiday but wish I had been notified because I had people waiting for package.

Hi Jennifer, On our website it says we only ship Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays to ensure items don't get stuck in transit or in a facility over the weekend. Any orders placed on Thursdays, Fridays and the weekend will ship on Monday, and you placed your order on a Thursday. Naturally, it will go the following Monday to be shipped plus we had the holiday on Tuesday. So sorry that confused you. Something to keep in mind for future orders. Package arrived within a couple days of ordering & was clearly marked as PERISHABLE. Was a Christmas gift for my husband but he hasn’t yet used any of the items.

Cooked up well. Had a good strong Smokey flavor which I like. Thickness was ideally.
