Bacon arrived warm. Ice pack was completely thawed. Customer service did issue refund, so I will try again.

Hi Jeff, So sorry to hear your package was received warm. The transit time from our distribution center to your residence was 2 days. Normally our thermal packaging and gel-packs provide adequate insulation to ensure delivery of our perishable products in a chilled and safe condition for up to 3 days transit. We have used this system along with USPS priority mail for several years with overwhelmingly good success. In rare instances, we have found that either the weather has been extreme or the packaging was damaged or defective. In these cases, we stand behind our service and either replace or refund our valued customers.

Hi Mr. Hester, Sorry to hear your order was received a day late. We primarily use USPS priority mail for shipping. Although it is not guaranteed for a delivery date, it is normally quite reliable and by far the most cost effective way to deliver orders. The good news is the Boss Hog Super thick Hickory Smoked Bacon you ordered is dry cured and shelf stable 90 days. The bacon you received should be in excellent shape with one day delivery delay. We do stand behind our products 100%, if the bacon you received is in fact spoiled, please contact us and we will arrange a refund or replacement at your option. Bacon Freak
