Ayla has been SUCH an incredible find for me! I only just discovered this site a month ago, but I’ve already placed several orders with them. For reference, I’m a 36 year old female with both a penchant for and a love of high-end, clean beauty products. I’ve shopped at many (MANY) clean beauty sites and stores and I can say, without compunction, that this one is special. There are many aspects to this company that make it so extraordinary, but here are three highlights: 1) They carry the highest quality, most impeccably sourced, truly clean skincare. I’ve also found products through Ayla that I haven’t seen in many other places, like the de Mamiel cleansing cloths, which I can’t wait to try. 2) Their DESCRIPTIONS of products — those are what truly won me over. They are unlike any other site I’ve ever been to, beauty-related or otherwise. Not only have they clearly tested EVERY product they sell, but they flesh out their experiences with them as well as any pertinent information about them in ways that are both extremely thorough and always accessible; they distill complex concepts regarding the science involved in their products into understandable, relatable snippets — which is so cool. Sometimes they even point you to other products if they think they’d be better matches for your particular skin (and they tell you why, too!). I wish every website would do this, but that would take so much time, care, and effort; Ayla obviously has all three of these in abundance (well, maybe not time, but who does? They make the most of theirs, though, that’s for sure!). You can also tell that Ayla really believes in the products they carry and they’re clearly dedicated to providing excellent skincare and advice to the public. Wow! (One note, though: sometimes I’ll find a typo in a description, which normally would not be an issue for me, but when it occurs with an ingredient, I get a little confused. For example, on one product I was looking at, it said it contained “squalene” in the description and “squalane” in the ingredients section. These two are related but different ingredients — so, beware of little things like that). 3) Their customer service is top-notch (albeit a little slow, though maybe that was due to the holiday season and the ridiculously long email I sent them). Even though I wrote Ayla what essentially amounted to a novel, Serena clearly read the whole thing (sorry, Serena!) and, with the Ayla team, helped me create a custom skincare regimen with the products I purchased. She even answered all of my questions in my almost-equally long follow-up email. (UPDATE: I think I may have gone about this process wrong because I saw on their site that there’s a place to book consultations, both free and paid. The fact that they answered my email ANYWAY just further highlights how dedicated they are.) **Bonus point: they take Afterpay! I know this might not matter to some of you, but skincare at this level is EXPENSIVE. As a self-proclaimed fanatic, I was able to get almost the entire Kristina Holey + Marie Veronique line at once because I could split up the payments. If this hadn’t been an option, I would have had to break up the order which, while not the worst thing in the world, would have been pretty inconvenient considering I’d probably have had to spread the purchases out over 1- 2 months (which, when many of the products have a shelf life of around 6 months, is kind of a big deal). I also love that this option makes high-end, clean beauty more accessible. SO! Congratulations and my apologies to those who’ve made it this far, haha. Believe me when I say there’s more, but I’ve already written too much! Bottom line: check out this super-special clean beauty site before looking anywhere else. That’s what I’ve been doing since I found it and I don’t regret it for one minute.

While they moisturizer that I've been using seems to be doing my face very well; it is the most expensive (of course) lol...I have tried a couple others, and I think I have found one that will work for me and isnt as expensive. While it is out of stock (of course; so it must be great) I love that Ayla lets you order samples to try before investing in full size bottles, and to get you through while you wait for something to become available!!
