ordered 2 bridesmaids dresses to try, the quality of the dresses were terrible & definitely not true to size, i tried to send them back costing a total of £75 shipping fee, as they wont provide a shipping label, for them to get stuck at customs to then get told i need to pay another £40 to release them out of customs bare in mind the dresses cost £200 so i’d of lost more than half of my money then i paid for the dresses!!! i then emailed AW bridal as i wasnt happy & they offered me 70% of my money back if i dint pay the customs fee which they could of told me before i spent the £75!!! they dont specify there address untill you need to return which i think is terrible as there address is in china and costs a fortune to return!! which is why there website doesnt state it! do not buy!! especially if your not 100% & would like to return!!

I would not recommend. I first paid for two dresses with the intention of trying both on and sending one back. I received an email stating that wasn’t allowed and I had to choose one dress even though it was NOT a custom order. I received a refund for the one dress I chose not to ship due to their policy( the return policy states you can return non custom orders even though you can’t). The dress I did choose arrived and was very low quality and fit horribly, so I asked to send it back. They kept trying to refund me $20 instead of accepting the return $100 dress. I ending up paying for the shipping back to only never receive a refund for the dress. Horrible experience!

Don't believe a word of their reply. They failed to reply to me in a timely manner as they claimed, and they DID NOT flag my order to see that I mistakenly ordered two dresses. I was only partially refunded for the one ordered in error, minus tax and shipping..No problem, I have, and will continue to advise my friends not to do business with this company.

Like another reviewer, I ordered 2 dresses from AW Bridal last October (Just under £200, foolishly paid for using a Direct Debit card) . When they arriived, they were lovely but too small and were nowhere near the correct UK size I had ordered. The company originally tried to decline any right of return and refund ordered and eventually sent me instructions which asked me to pay for signed delivery return to China and to declare the parcel value as just $20. So the return cost me a further £45 only for the incorrect value declaration to cause the parcel to be stopped by Chinese Customs, in late November (presumably because import duties were now payable). Royal Mail tracking has not shown any movement since then (still stuck in customs) and emailing the company has just led to emails saying they have not had any contact from Chinese Customs and since the goods have not been received back, they will not refund me for the goods. So - you do exactly what they say and the company get a perfect excuse just to keep your money - regardless of whether the return package is ever gets released by customs or not. If you still feel you want to trust these scammers, pay by credit card whatever else you do and certainly go a size or two bigger than your standard UK size. All of this chasing up via email and getting told they are contacting customs on their end and to give them another few weeks has now reached the stage where I have slipped past the 120 day limit for seeking a chargeback on my Debit Card payment. (I now suspect this 'stringing along' was another deliberate ploy by the company) With a CC, at least I might still have been able to request a refund. Bitterly disapppointed by this whole experience. If the dress you get fits you, you might still consider this a bargain but if anything isn't right, don't waste your time with their customer services, you need to seek a refund from your card provider straight away or you can kiss your money goodbye.

Ordered three different dresses as had three bridesmaids and wanted them to wear different styles. Aw Bridal emailed me and told me that if I ordered three dresses I was waiving my right to refund two of them, which is ILLEGAL. When I called them out for practicing illegally and threatened to report them, they cancelled my order. AVOID THIS SCAMMY COMPANY.

I placed the order with expedited shipping 5 business days. Submitted the weeding date and the date needed by and no tailoring needed. It’s been over a week we called and they said every dress has to be tailored and it was going to arrive 5 days past the wedding. We canceled the order they were rude and argumentative. Now daughter is in tears. Have to find a dress. Don’t buy here

The reason for the 1 star and being generous as they deserve zero stars; is due to the way the bridesmaids dresses are done. To start on their website the dresses look beautiful but when you receive the dresses it’s completely different, if the dress has a zipper in the back it looks like you have tail therefore you need to go to a seamstress to have that fix which cost additional. In addition their sizing is completely off even when you customize per measurement so the entire dress has to get fixed which again incurs additional cost. The return policy is HORRIBLE since you have to pay for return shipping plus an additional restocking fee! Just the fact almost always you have to take the dress to a seamstress to fix the horrid sewing done on these dresses plus their horrid return policy defines me never purchasing any item from AW BRIDAL AGAIN! I purchased one dress through their measurements and one through their size charts and both dresses had to be altered which cost quite a bit to fix! NEVER AGAIN! I will ensure that I will let as many people know about all these online stores. Do yourself a favor go to a local bridal store it’s cheaper.

Ordered a wedding dress that was guaranteed to be delivered in 3 to 6 days and paid expedited shipping to ensure it shipped even faster. Two weeks later the dress had not been shipped and three weeks later the dress which was supposed to be shipped from LA, Calif was actually shipped from China. A month later still no dress! They lie on the phone and will bait you on! DO NOT TRUST this CHINA company!
