As many have reviewed the terrible customer service which I'm now experiencing myself I feel I need to comment on the mattress. After many hours of research and reading about the mattress on the Avocado site and reviews (maybe fake?) We purchased the mattress and separate topper. The vacuumed packed mattress was unpacked and set up per their video and we left it to expand for two weeks (on vacation) before any initial use. I noticed that the top still had a deep depression where it was folded for shipping and and it was wrinkled not full and puffy like the video and pictures. Obviously due to the vacuum packing and possibly a flaw in the construction of the mattress it never fully expanded. We decided to give it several months and see if it responded to use. It has only gotten worse and and for several months I awake with back and hip pain and now sleep on our 10 year old mattress which we put in the guest room, which doesn't sag and doesn't cause back and hip pain. This Avocado Mattress is clearly flawed and defective. I'm now on my 6th email with customer service since there wasn't a way to call them and they will not call me despite requesting it. I'm simply getting requests for a picture of this and picture of that and a picture of the bed frame, measurements of the slats etc. all one email at a time. Now they're suggesting we place the mattress on the floor to test it out and see if we need to build a "solid platform" in our new, expensive, very well built bed as this may remove the sunken center and wrinkled top. Seriously this is most ridiculous process I have experienced with a product. We regret buying a mail order mattress. We considered exchanging the Avocado mattress for another hopefully good one, but after this terrible service and experience they just lost a customer! I'm waiting for their the next email to request our body weight (me 185lbs and wife135lbs) so we're about average or slightly below), so they cant blame the sagging on our being overweight. Based on the stalling it appears they want to do anything but accept responsibility for their poor product. I'm beginning to believe we are about to be stuck with a really bad, expensive, defective mattress as they obviously don't want to stand behind all the promises and guarantees on their web site. DON'T BUY ONE AND FIND A BETTER COMPANY FOR ORGANICS!

Bed is comfortable. Lots of issues with delivery and communication, but Sundeep, my representative was amazing from start to finish

Absolute garbage customer service. I have been trying to cancel my order for the last three days. I am VERY skeptical of their five star reviews, as they all seem to be manufactured aka fake. Their website is slick with very good design, and the product they promise looks great on paper, but ZERO customer service. I am currently in my FOURTH HOUR waiting for their online chat to respond, I have sent a bunch of emails to both their "support" and "return" departments, and have gotten nowhere. I am fighting this through PayPal as well as through my bank. This borders on the crimninal.

The customer service is abhorrent. The worst. Pillow protectors are garbage. The pillow protectors bite you as you sleep. This company needs government vetting. Not organic! This product is not as organic as they claim. I wish I had not wasted my hard earned money. I wanted to love this company so much!!! They don’t vet their farm for real organic certifications. Seems off- something is wrong, somewhere. Organic should not bite or zap you with bites as you sleep! That is an industrial byproduct of contaminated substances that were used. I’ve done the research because I have to be organically safe. The company has a great concept but this company needs a check up. I just loved their advertisement and product line, but a company has to live by its claims and care for the customers. Not just fleece the consumer without ensuring that their products are truly made safe. They even claim to have their own farm in Sri Lanka. I really need this company to improve. Their items are so beautiful. I’m still a fan, but hate the run around for simple fixes. It’s apparently a lack of care for customers. They don’t show care, just rhetoric. I hope they do better. I want them to do great.

Very bad customer service. There is no way to call, and the online chat service wants me to wait for two hours. Sure - got plenty of time to stare at the chat box.... I have had two very straightforward issues: The first was to hold delivery until we return to town - that failed to happen and we had to have a friend come to the house to intercept the package before someone else took it. The second is to return an unused sheet order for refund. It's impossible to get that simple issue resolved. I am now in the two hour wait period. Amazing.

Good mattress but terrible, terrible customer service. Your order will be later than they advertise, period. You will not be able to get any information on how much later. I also ordered pillows that were meh. Same bad delivery and customer service experience. Ordered furniture that fell apart and was met by incompetent customer service. They kept asking me to send videos of it falling apart and then said they couldn’t open them and had zero idea of how to proceed with the smallest of obstacles that were entirely their fault. I felt like I was being trolled. Even their return process has extra steps other modern companies do not have. I wanted to love this company, but in this day and age companies need to realize that we’re busy people and can’t spend hours on all sorts of steps related to an issue. Make the process short and simple and you’ll have happy customers. I’m kicking myself for not shopping for a mattress on Amazon. They make even large returns simple and easy. In retrospect I wouldn’t pay what they charge for a business that is mismanaging their customer experience business.

Horrible customer service. I don’t know what it is about these social media companies but everyone of them sucks at customer service. Especially ones based out of SoCal. Being from CA myself Avocado represents the “o well” attitude the rest of the state hates. I received and incomplete order Long shipping delays. Zero updates and no replies to emails. So good luck trying to get them to fulfill their satisfaction guarantee. One thing that brings me hope is they will no longer be able to claim made in America after Biden’s reform bill goes into effect. Avocado just puts imported material together and slaps an American flag on it. If i buy a puzzle from Russia but put it together in the U.S. is that puzzle made in America?

Ordered two king pillows on Nov. 30, 2020 as Christmas gifts for my daughter/son-in-law and credit card charged immediately. Website indicated pillows ship in 1-2 weeks. After weeks with no tracking I was told it was now 2-4 weeks. It is now Feb. 3, 2021 and they still cannot tell me when the pillows will ship. Why would they charge my credit card when they haven’t even produced the pillows yet? Customer service’s explanation changes every time I complain. I think over nine weeks is more than enough time to manufacturer a couple of pillows. I cancelled my order today and am now told it could take over a week to get my refund.
