I have just been a victim of discrimination by this Avis branch, I booked for 3 day as a key worker and was refused the vehicle by ABU the customer service agent at the branch. Abu's reason for refusal was because i had 6 points on my licence. i provided a DVLA licence check code and after checking, the result was 6 penalty point endorsement under - MS90 Failure to give information as to identity of driver, which i am currently appealing. I explained to ABU that just 2 weeks ago i had a previous booking and was able to get a car with exactley the same licence with points etc, i pleaded with Abu but he just did not want to hear it. I asked to see the Terms and conditions which stipulates this but Abu was not interested.ABU then gave me the email address of Ahron Tolley who i should contact. i have now been left with no vehicle to transport a sick relative to the hospital outside of the city. I am an avis preferred member who has always used Avis, I was treated with utter contempt by this branch. my booking number was 4934-2063-GB-1

I cannot believe that a company of this size and history allows that local offices to directly cheat people !! I travel 200 days a year and I rent cars all the time, so I have a qualified experience in rentals to make this comment. They cheated me for three times the amount I was supposed to pay. After calling them 20 times now, where they admit the problem, promise to solve the case and call me back (and not doing it), I have decided that everybody should know this prior to supporting this company !! Stay away from Avis !!

Arnaque pure et simple. 45 min de retard pour louer la voiture. Le plein n'est pas fait à la récupération de la voiture comme le contrat le demandait. 278,31€ facturés pour une assurance premium que nous avons clairement refusée et non signée. Service client 0/10, ne jamais donner votre signature a cette entreprise, car elle peut sans problème la copier / coller sur n'importe quel contrat. NE JAMAIS CHOISIR CETTE ENTREPRISE

Vorsicht. Buchen Monate nach einer Mietwagen noch einen Betrag ab, das Sie Bearbeitungsgebühr nennen, trotz ausdrücklicher untersagung. Auf Telefon wird nicht reagiert. Auf viele Mails folgte nach knapp zwei Monaten eine cooy/paste Antwort. Also sehr aufpassen und konte überprüfen wenn man bei avis/Budget gebucht hat.

Can I give negative 5? Avis Heathrow have become number one cheaters. Please avoid. They did not refund my security deposit of GBP 200. They even charged GBP 250 on account of late return whereas I dropped the car well in time. I hire very frequently but never rent again from them. I was very disapointed with our recent hire in Zurich Airport , We took a car for 3 weeks and the car was returned in great condition with a full tank of fuel but they took £129 from my credit card with which I secured the damage waiver. I have called and called I never get through to anyone and I have sent emails and had no reply . Then I received a speeding fine from Switzerland Police department for being 6kmh over billed at 20 EURO and a day later I get a letter from AVIS BUDGET telling me that they would be charging my account 50 CHF for assisting the police, what a rip off!

Avoid at all costs! In my opinion this is a clear rip-off but I am sure they have dozens of lawyers making this look completely legal. The long story short they charge you €48.80 as "administrative fee", if the legal authority asks them your address for sending you your traffic ticket. Never again!

After 3 weeks I am still awaiting a response from Avis. I emailed to complain about them taking two hundred pounds from my credit card for a non-existent scratch measuring 3mm Terrible company
