This is the worst product I have ever tried. Not to mention, the most EXPENSIVE product I’ve ever tried. I started with very small pimples that were probably unnoticeable to most, and after using this product religiously, I very quickly got painful cystic acne. Something I’ve never had before in my life. Apparently customer service is telling everyone “this is part of the process”. I’ve never in my life had to deal with this from any product. If this is part of the “process”, then this product needs to be off the market. I quit using it about a week ago, and have already seen improvements in my skin by going back to CeraVe wash and a drug store toner/moisturizer.
I’d also like to mention that the cleanser feels so gross on the skin. I am so upset that I wasted so much money on this set. Guess I can always dump them out and at least use the bottles... oh wait... the sprayer and the pump on each of the bottles were broken when I got them...

THEY HIDE NEGATIVE REVIEWS AND DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS
I purchased Averra Glow’s body polish that is of the worst products I have ever tried. It left a black residue even after rinsing and attempting to scrub off with a loofa. I found that was even impossible to wipe off even with a towel, and the only way to remove it was by scraping it off with my fingernails.
Even drug store scrubs have never caused so much damage and potential for ruining my sheets, towels and clothes.
After I found out about their atrocious return policy (no returns) which was not clearly presented when I placed my order (I never would have ordered if I knew I couldn’t return it), I decided to write a 1 star review to inform customers not to buy this product. Sure enough, upon submitting, the page still shows only 5 and 4 star reviews and ZERO negative reviews.
I’m sure others have left a 1 star review due to how damaging this product is to sheets, towels and clothing items, but they negative reviews from their customers.
This is evil and disgusting. If they are creating products that stain clothes and sheets because they don’t rinse off properly, customers should be informed. And by not allowing them to return the item that they could have been warned about had they read the negative reviews you hid, they are essentially stealing their money.
I do not know where to go to expose this business, but I hope I will have opportunities to warn people before they purchase anything from them. Averra Glow should be ashamed of their lack of ethics, transparency and responsibility.

Hello Lauren, Thank you for your feedback. Let me give you some information about our Rejuvenating Essence Body Polish that should probably help you understand more about the elements used in the formula to produce it and why you are having this staining effect. The body polish is a natural anti-inflammatory that helps relieve skin conditions, such as eczema, and also helps with the skin's ability to retain water, which helps strengthen skin cell renewal. The polish pretty much is absorbed into the skin. The black clay, besides being rich in minerals to help skin, this clay helps with oily skin and breakouts on the body. It contains cranberry oil which is one of the richest sources of Vitamin E. This oil helps to reduce sun spots, boosts collagen, and helps with skin elasticity. It also helps against bad bacteria and is rich in minerals! Some of the elements in the formula we used to produce the Body Polish are imported from Iceland, the formula is infused with antioxidants and nutrients from cold-weather Nordic regions, and is full of the minerals as mentioned before. This is almost like you are in the actual mud bath in Iceland! It would be pretty tough to get off of your skin there also! One of the purposes of creating the Body Polish was to bring the experience of the Icelandic mud bath straight to your shower. So, there is going to be a need for you to use your favorite gentle soap or body wash with a loofah to remove the residue. I hope this helps explain things a little more in-depth. I used the acne line for 2 months and…
I used the acne line for 2 months and grew massive painful cysts that scarred my face. I have never had cysts like this before! I have since switched to azaleic acid treatments 2x a day which has helped clear up the cysts and reduce the scarring. I use philosophy’s face wash now too.

Hello CLE, There is no specific timeline on how quickly some will see results. This varies from person to person. Some have seen results the next day, and some customers have a longer window to achieve clear skin. Also, some experience breakouts while others do not. Lifestyle factors can affect results like food habits, exercise habits, stress, prescription drugs, etc. We are certainly glad that you found what works best for your and your skin. We wish you all the best on your skincare journey.

Too expensive for the low quality, ineffective.
I would simply not buy this myself twice. I tried, i really tried to like them because of how good it sounds. Thought it took me 3 months to convince my intuition this might be actually worth it. Comparing ALL NATURAL PRODUCTS OUT THERE, these are quite too expensive for the actual quality. The cream is terrible oily and my skin got clogged against all advertisements. Bottles dont spray properly (i have two). The cleaning tonic smells so great but it just doesnt work. It always left my skin oily, and after using them for a while i had to stop. I was clogging my skin more and more. The only one that I actually kept was the clay mask. All the rest i would never buy, nor recommend. We are easily sold an idea, but a little research goes a long way. Do your homework. To the company- no hard feelings, just lower the freaking price. Because you know its wrong to ask for so much and want to make great profits. Eventually people talk and try and it wont last this long, you will find yourself with great losses. Take care.

Hundreds down the drain
I wasted HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS. I used Avera Glow for 5 months and It made my skin WORSE. If you are going to charge people that much money you better make sure that it actually works or five people a trial run . Every spray bottle that I received did not spray correctly even after washing it and running it under hot water. The way they advertise their nourishing creams, do not arrive looking the same way or have the same texture at all. Dont buy this stuff you're better off using something else honestly. If the price was cut by 50% then I'd say give it a shot and it MIGHT work for you. But all of that money is not worth the risk. Again if you are going to charge that much money make sure your packaging and products actually work like you advertise. Super disappointed and discouraged. I didn't even have that bad of acne either! Just got bad because of Maskne and the spray they have for that didn't work either. I'm not taking medications, I eat relatively healthy, plenty of water. Your product is the reason my acne got worse!

Fungal Acne
I really wanted to like their products, but their products did not work for me. They caused fungal acne within a week of using. I tried to stick with them as they claimed I was going through a “purging” process. I used Averr Aglow products for over 2 months and did not see any improvement. Wasted about $300 on the products that don’t work. They also hide negative reviews on their website and their Facebook community page. I left 3 negative reviews on 3 different products on their site, but the company never published them. I do not trust this company and would not recommend their products.
Response from Averr AglowDec 17, 2020
Hello Hannah, Fungal acne is caused by an overgrowth of yeast, a type of fungus. Fungal acne can be stubborn and sometimes challenging to treat. We wish our products could be a magical cure for everyone, but we cannot guarantee results because there are certain factors that can affect the results you see. You will see many different opinions on social media. We do not remove it. This is why we are active on social media, so that feedback can be shared, and everyone can feel supported. Reviews on our website are posted in the order they are received. And the team member who handles this has the responsibility to make sure that reviews we receive do not break company policies.. We may choose not to publish any reviews that contain profanity, spam, or statements that contradict facts based on independent case studies of our products and/or may be misleading to consumers. Best of wishes to you and your skincare journey! If you have any questions, please reach out to [email protected] and Customer Support will be happy to assist in any way possible.

THEY HIDE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ON SITE
THEY HIDE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ON SITE!
I used their products for over two months and my skin was the worse it has ever been. They will say this is supposed to happen and is just "purging" but I had deep painful pimples that I've never had before. Then I switched to using salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide products and my active acne was gone within a week. My skin was not "purging" my pores were being clogged by the comedogenic products.
But worst of all, they only publish positive reviews on their site! I tried to write one start reviews on multiple products after using them for a month, but they wouldn't publish those reviews.
Very misleading, very unethical, very disappointing.
Response from Averr AglowDec 17, 2020
Hello Rozzie, When starting new skincare that contains active ingredients, it alters the state of your skin. We find everyone see results at different rates. Some of our users need a few weeks, and others need closer to the 3-4 month mark if you have been dealing with breakouts for some time. Each time you use them, you're treating the issue and helping to eliminate the problem, but it just is based on your skin and the skin cycle you were at when you started the products. We've had users experience this and wanted to give up in the beginning, but are now so glad that they stuck with the process. We know it is scary to see more breakouts when using a product that is supposed to help clear them, but for some users, it's normal for skin to get worse before it gets better. No, the products will not clog your pores. Each of the ingredients were carefully chosen for their ability to help blackheads, whiteheads, and other clogged pores related to breakouts and acne. While we do use a lot of oil, these particular oils are known for their properties and have been thoroughly tested (on humans) and studied for their benefit to problematic, breakout-prone skin. They will not clog your pores but will help keep skin balanced and hydrated. While our skincare delivers amazing, life-changing results to so many, we truly do understand that not all skincare can be a perfect fit for every person. Thus, you will see many different opinions along these lines on social media. We do not remove it. This is why we are active on social media, so that feedback can be shared, and everyone can feel supported. Thank you for giving our products a try, we wish you could have continued with the products. We hope you find the right products for you to help you achieve your skin goals!

Averr Aglow Nightmare
It’s been a while, but I’m not sure I’ll ever fully get over my experience with Averr Aglow. When I purchased, they were not yet on Trust Pilot and all I saw were 5 star reviews on their site and glowing reviews on social media. After a lifetime of hormonal acne, it finally felt I’d found the correct diet to get my face more clear and based on the reviews, I thought this might clear the last of it.
When a month past on the product and I had the worst acne of my life, I’m talking no part of my face remained clear, I took to Facebook to ask. At this time, I was encouraged to keep with it and was told my skin was “purging.” Eventually, I decided to go get it checked out and I was told I was not purging and the products were absolutely causing the acne to spread and grow.
I was simply going to stop using the product and chalk it up to them not being the correct fit for me. I was disappointed about how much I spent, but I figured that’s just how it goes sometimes. Then someone I didn’t know on Facebook commented on my comment sharing a similar experience and asking my concerns had resolved, I gave her an honest answer and told her what occurred. Next thing I know, the whole comment thread was deleted and I was blocked from commenting any further. When I reached out to their customer service team, I was told they have the right to delete any comments they desire and insisted my experience was rare and I was just angry I hadn’t had a positive experience. No empathy they had encouraged me to continue a product I was clearly having a poor reaction to, no explanation of why an honest review would be deleted, it became clear to me they weren’t the honest company trying to help others that they claimed to be.
I’m thankful I eventually got my skin more on track, but it took quadruple the time it took Averr Aglow to mess it up and to be honest, even over a year later, there is still scarring and pocking that my time using Averr Aglow caused. While I eventually got my money back, it was only have a negative review with the BBB (which I learned through that process is useless by the way), and multiple complaints directly with the company. They still never honored my request to have an honest review actually posted on their site or social media. Maybe this works for some people and maybe it’s a complete scam, I will honestly never know because it didn’t work for me and I don’t know anyone who has successfully used it. What I do know, is an honest company should have nothing to hide and should feel comfortable standing by their product enough to offer refunds when clearly there’s been a negative reaction.
Edit to Respond to Comments from Averr Aglow: I didn’t write this for a response; I wrote this so that people have a chance to see balanced reviews since your company does not allow for them on your site or social media. Your response also continues to dance around the reality that you delete anything you do not perceive to be positive press for you. These aren’t ethical business practices. Until you have a response for why you would delete honest reviews and start allowing them, I don’t have any interest in what you have to say and I just hope to spare people the pain I experienced due to your company’s dishonesty.

Hello Caitlin, We completely understand that it can feel like a big risk to try something new. Who wants to spend money on something that doesn’t give you the results you are looking for? We know not all skincare can be a good fit for everyone. One, we can not control lifestyle factors that could affect outcomes like food habits, exercise habits, stress, prescription drugs, etc. If these factors didn’t matter, we could control this, we could easily offer a results guarantee. All of these things affect your breakouts and while the skincare products are amazing they are not a magic cure. Then, there is also the timeline on how quick some will see results. This varies from person to person. Some have seen results the next day, and some girls we have worked with took almost nine months. Also, some purge and others do not. Many get nervous when a purge occurs and want to jump ship, but this is a huge step in clearing skin, so they stick with it to get through this because of what they invested and this usually leads to great results when they would have stopped because of their nervousness. Unfortunately, purging isn’t associated with these products specifically as it’s how breakouts work, so sometimes you have to work through this issue and it can take a couple months to do so. We have been in business for over 5 years, and we are very transparent on our website, and all over social media and openly share how these products may cause you to break out more in the beginning. We do try to make that very clear. And you will see from many customers comments, they know this going in. We also make clear everyone’s skin is different, some hardly breakout but start clearing from day 1, and some it takes quite a bit longer, most customers fall somewhere in between. We are happy you found something that helped you accomplish your skincare goals.
