Dry skin + Acne Good Products
I've had acne for years and lately it was bad. I'm also in my mid thirties and have dry skin. I found Averr because I was looking for dry skin + acne products. Murad and Clinique both don't address them together...and I've used both over the years. I took a risk on Averr even though I don't find many articles or recommendations from trusted sources for it. I've been using it consistently for nearly two months and here is my summary: 1. It did slightly help my acne. I was dealing with a reaction from a Clinique moisturizer and Averr did help tame that 2. However I don't see a dramatic holy moly difference. I still have bumps on my forehead and get breakouts on my chin. Just like any other acne line I've used. Nothing is a "cure all" 3. This DID help with dry skin. It kept my acne breakouts about the same (not worse) and kept my skin moisturized. This was a win 4. I'm not a fan on the rose scent in the spray and clarifying tonic. I've just had to get use to it. 5. The clay mask for overnight is great. This really helps dry up my acne and it frankly helps me from picking my skin at night. However the pump on the bottle never worked. They should just make it a squeeze tub. 6. The mositurizer is unique. It's like a paste that you use a tiny tiny amount and warm in your hands. I was skeptical at first but I like it. Plus is smells great! Overall, will I buy again? Probably. The clay mask (despite the pump issue) and the moisturizer. The spray and tonic are iffy.
