Not worth it
I only paid shipping and it was still not worth it. The cream appeared to have separated and I was hesitant to try it because it looked so gross. Does not appear to be shelf stable, would not recommend.

I have had troubles with maskne for the last several months. I work in healthcare and we are still wearing masks. I got some of the maskne spray for my face and it made my maskne so much worse. Now, before you say that products do that, make it worse before they get better, this was not a cleanser. It was supposed to protect my skin. I have it in a box to find a new home for.

Did nothing for my acne. The products are not medical grade so they have to be kept in a small fridge or another location that doesn't get humid, that's absurd.

Hi Alexis, we are sorry to hear that you feel your acne was not helped. It can take time, depending on how long a person has been dealing with breakout prone skin. We find everyone sees results at different rates. Some of our users need a few weeks, and others need closer to the 3-4 month mark if you have been dealing with breakouts for some time. Each time you use the products, you're treating the issue, helping to eliminate the problem, and feeding your skin excellent nutrition, but it just is based on your skin and the skin cycle you were at when you started the products. All the ingredients are sourced from nature, even the preservatives, so for optimal freshness use within 6 months of opening. They do not need to store in a fridge, but there is no problem if one chooses to. We would love for you to reach out to our [email protected] for further help with your skincare.

The company has a GREAT marketing team, and the blue products are visually pretty. That's where the compliments end for me. They're very overpriced. Most of my products weren't even mixed when I got them. One cream arrived with chunks of some kind of butter that were entirely unincorporated into the whole cream. One had a layer of product with one texture, but by the 3rd use the texture under that layer was greasy, waxy, and felt almost sandy. The toner is BARELY better than clean and clear and I found whatever charcoal or other dark powder in it to be irritating to my skin and felt drying. The clear skin elixir was all kinds of chunky and unmixed, so I'm glad I only got the travel size kit of that so it didn't destroy a pump. Honestly FAR from impressed, highly disappointed, and surprised that their website touts "No, seriously — it’s all about the clay’s ionic charge." As if the ionic charge is what makes clay work for acne and not the fact that it draws away oils and dries out the pimples. A couple of nice ingredients, but they went too ham on the "all natural" and forgot to leave in the "scientifically proven to be effective" that can still be found in natural ingredients. Going all natural isn't the cure all for acne. If you choose to do it, great, but please do it with a brand that understands the science behind skincare and ships out finished products, not a cream you have to mix yourself because they couldn't be bothered to keep the mixer on until it wasn't chunky. I'm talking a centimeter in all directions chunk. Incredibly inconsistent product, but they pretend its because the formula is "natural and stable". Maybe natural, but not as stable as they claim. Buyer be warned.

Sara, we thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you giving our skincare a chance. We are sorry to hear about your experience, as we aim to provide not only exceptional skincare, but also diligent care of our clients. Since our ingredients are sourced from nature and have no fillers sometimes there can be a natural separation, this will not affect the efficacy of the product, and just requires shaking. There are many, many factors that must go into play to provide support for sensitive, problematic skin. That is why we aim to educate our clients on why breakouts form in the first place: when pores produce oil, it mixes with acne-causing bacteria making the pore sticky and then attracting dead skin. When these three mix together, it creates a very cramped and clogged pore causing break outs. Our complete skincare kit addresses all three issues, through the process and the ingredients. What is needed is: daily gentle exfoliation to remove the dead skin, ingredients that kill bad bacteria and promote good bacteria, and balancing out the production of sebum to provide healthy, radiant, skin that is not dry or oily. We care about your satisfaction, and ask that you please reach out to our client experience team at [email protected]. We look forward to further assisting you. Thank you, Sara.

These products not only did not work for me, but the company is shady and buries their negative reviews. I used the line for well over a year, spent hundreds of dollars, and had no improvement in my skin. The “purging” phase continued the entire time because these products were just clogging my pores and making my acne worse. The rave reviews on their website and social media are misleading. TrustPilot is the only place they can’t control what’s posted, you’ll notice this is the only place with negative reviews. This company is scamming people and should be reported to the FTC and BBB.

This company needs to revisit how the are making these products and the price. I have tried a few of them and they made my skin worse. The Perfectionist Night Serum was too oily and had a bad smell. It made my skin break out with bumps around my forehead, nose and chin. I also tried the Clear Skin Elixr and it was just as bad. The smell was horrible. After putting it my skin, it thicken and hardened so bad, I almost could not even remove it. I thought I was going to have to get a razer and scrape it off. Not what I was expecting at all. I don't mind paying for products that works but these did not. I think if they are going to charge that much money for their products, they need to make sure that at least work like they claim. Very disappointed!

Hi Elisha! We are sorry to hear that the products you used did not meet your expectations. Our client care glowteam are always available to share individualized guidance for each client that reaches out expressing their concerns and answering any questions. Our products contain ingredients sourced from nature so you will find they range from earthy, woodsy scents to nutty, spicy or lightly floral. We advise in many places on our website that introducing new products, with active ingredients, go to work on your skin and help heal blemishes. In that process a detox can occur of inflammation that has been under the skin, blemishes that would have come through your skin at some point, but this detox process quickens the process. The Clear Skin Elixir is an overnight mask designed to help soothe and help heal breakouts, with instructions to apply a light layer on your skin. In the morning, if not using our cleansing process which is a two step spray and cleanse with a cotton pad, then we suggest taking a damp, warm wash cloth, gently pressing it to your skin, and gently massaging the remaining Elixir off. Soft, fresh skin is unveiled. The Overnight Perfectionist Seum should be used sparingly, 2-3 drops, and we suggest spraying first with the Hydration Dew, as it preps the skin to break down and absorb the nourishing oil molecules. We invite you to reach out to [email protected] for further guidance on the products you have, and how best to use them. We care about each and every person who has given our skincare a try, and would love to help in your skincare journey!

The promises of the Averr line were very appealing to me, and after reading many reviews on their site and others, I decided to give it a try. The products have dozens of ingredients, with many oils in the mix. This caused increase build up of oil and grease on my face, causing exacerbated breakouts. I have never had terrible skin, but I broke out with large, under-ground type pimples that were painful and unsightly. As the product mentions a slight worsening of acne is possible, I stuck with it. After a while, it was not improving. It was painful and my confidence plummeted. Not even make up could cover it up. I have discontinued use of their products, and unfortunately, the customer service team simply wished me and my skin well in their response. Poor service. Poorer results.

Hi Sarah, thank you for taking the time to share. Our skincare process combines exfoliation, bacterial cleansing, oil balancing and nourishing skin with nutrients to restore skin back to health. To achieve clear skin, what is needed is to remove what is going on below the surface and get past the inflammation lurking under the surface, and inflammation can be forming for two months before coming to the surface. This process can expedite as there are many factors working to feed and help heal your skin. As in any skincare, some may be sensitive to ingredients. Our ingredients are clean, all natural plant extracts and oils, so while it is uncommon, allergies can occur. We suggest you reach back out to our client care team if this is the case at [email protected].
