There may be an adjustment period as far as feeling a bit on the oily side. Even though you may have used a gentle cleanser in the past, it still can strip your face of it's natural oils, and then that causes your sebum glands to overproduce to make up for that. Our products introduce oil, especially jojoba, which is very good for the skin and it's bacteria, but your skin may need to get used to being fed nutrient dense, nourishing oils. Eventually the glands will get the message, ok, we are not going to be stripped anymore, and it all balances out. We are so happy that you are loving most of our skincare! But sorry to hear your experience with the SPF was not the best. We understand it can be a bit tricky with all natural zinc sunscreen, but we appreciate you giving it a try.

Hi Shelly, thank you for your feedback. We would like to assure you that breaking out at first is normal, even though unpleasant, but temporary. With the introduction of these skincare products and cleansing process, there is a purging process that can happen, it doesn't happen to everyone, but it is common. We have a lot of natural, nutrient dense active ingredients in the products that help to speed up skin cell turnover. Breakouts form under the surface before appearing on the skin. Sometimes they form and pop right up and sometimes they fester under the skin for up to two to three months. Our products help to get the impurities and inflammation up and out of the skin. But, then the result is usually clear skin. Most likely your skin was still in this process of pulling out the impurities. We thank you for giving it a chance!
