Hi Megan, yes, with the introduction of this product, there is a purging process that can happen, it doesn't happen to everyone, but it is common. We usually see this with some of our users in the first few weeks. We have a lot of natural, nutrient dense active ingredients in the products that help to speed up skin cell turnover. Breakouts form under the surface before appearing on the skin. Sometimes they form and pop right up and sometimes they fester under the skin for up to 2-3 months. Our products help to get the impurities and inflammation up and out of the skin. But, then the result is usually clear skin. We thank you for giving our skincare a try!

We were happy to replace 2 bottles of the Elixir as a courtesy to you over a month ago. Our formula for the Elixir has not changed since its origin. It was created to gently pull out impurities from deep within the skin, which is what you may have been experiencing. Many refer to it as a Miracle in a Bottle. Since many of our ingredients are plant-extracted botanicals, there can be a variance in the color, smell or texture simply due to the time it was harvested, soil conditions or where it is from. We thank you for giving our products a chance over this past year, and we truly wish you and your skin well.
