The hair gel I purchased recently has such strong and overpowering smell that everyone around you notices. The smell lingers on from wash day to wash day. You’re lucky if you don’t get a headache or feel nauseous from the odor. I contacted customer service and they did nothing,

0 star if I could leave. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years now. Few years back I became pure privilege member too. Unfortunately I couldn't make a purchase last 2 years with a new born and missed the cut off date of pure privilege expiry by 3 months. Not only did the customer service decline reinstating, but also said my collected points all over these years of purchase expired and can no longer use them. This is very unfair treatment for a loyal customer who spent expensive products all over these years and also spent $10 to purchase the pure privilege and have been buying their product all these time. Combination of Product quality and customer service only buys a customer. Beware when you decide on becoming loyal customer to a company that doesn't value it.

I have purchased a brow definer pencil and the sharpener. Either the sharpener is faulty, or the pencil is badly constructed. I have apply gentle weight to the pencil as I hold it to sharpen, but the wood cracks and the “crayon” breaks off! I have wasted much more than I have used. The salon manager was having the same issue! I have tried using a brow sharpener from another manufacturer, but the pencil does the same thing. Given the cost of the brow definer, the product is not worth the money! I will not be purchasing any other aveda products of this nature.

What a horrible company this is. My boss purchased a gift voucher for me for Christmas and it got lost for a while. I then came across the voucher very recently and reached out to the company to see if I could still use it explaining what had happened. Sadly the gift voucher had expired, and the company said it was no longer valid and that was that. Such a big company and they couldn't honour a £60 gift voucher to spend on products and services. Shame on Aveda. Do not buy Aveda gift vouchers because after 6 months they expire which is a con really as most gift vouchers are valid for longer periods, not just a miserly 6 months from the date of issue. I wanted to give zero stars but was unable to submit a review if I did that so it’s a one star for Aveda for being such a ghastly Rip-Off company!!!

Fortunatamente ho risolto il problema circa il mio acquisto su aveda.com e recuperato i soldi. Pessima azienda e, scopro, che anche i prodotti sono mica troppo sostenibili. È danneggiata anche l'immagine della casa Estée Lauder. Di sicuro non gli regalerò più un euro.

I purchased online & when the order was delivered, the product was opened & had leaked into the box. I was left with a quarter to a half a bottle of product missing. The product isn't exactly the cheapest either. You have to jump through hoops to get a resolution as well. Not happy

Do not order Aveda products online!!!!! You will be ripped off!!! Their customer service is appalling. I ordered products on the 29th of November and I still haven't received them on January 3rd. I emailed the Aveda customer service early December and still haven't received a reply, and upon calling customer service I was lied too. My products were supposedly delivered at a UPS parcel point near my place half December but they did not want to give me a UPS code to go and collect it, saying that they couldn't (??!!) and that I just had to turn up at the parcel point and show my ID in order to collect my parcel. When I tried this I was told at the parcel point that they could not locate or give me my parcel without showing them the Parcel code that Aveda didn't want to give me and acted like I was suspicious trying to collect a parcel without a code. Not a nice experience!! So there is no way for me to know if my parcel was ever there. Needless to say I also never received an email from UPS that they were even handling my parcel. During my following complaint phone call to Aveda customer service they claimed that I'm in the wrong for not going to collect my package (which I tried but couldn't and I now sincerely doubt was ever sent!!) and that they will not refund the sum of over 100 euro's until UPS returns my parcel to them. I really doubt I will ever see my money back after being ignored and lied too. They also had the audacity to say that I should reorder the products if I want them but that I won't receive the 25% discount for Black Friday and that they will not compensate and give me the free items I was promised at Black Friday with any purchase over a certain amount. Why in the hell would I even consider ordering from Aveda again after such a terrible experience? I've given them a week to return my money to my account and if not I will fail an official complaint against Aveda Europe. They have just lost a very faithful client that has been consistently used Aveda products for nearly 10 years. I kind of wish that I had tried to order online from them earlier after this terrible experience as then I would have known they do not care about their customers and could have stopped using Aveda products earlier. If they lie to us about online orders, what else do they lie to us about? Hopefully not about their products being animal cruelty free!!!!!!!!!!

Twee keer over hier besteld, mijn pakketten kwamen nooit aan. Bij de eerste heb ik na twee weken contact opgezocht. Pakket was niet leverbaar? Ik heb wel netjes mijn geld teruggekregen. Waarom kan ik het dan wel bestellen als het niet leverbaar is? Nadat ik mijn geld heb teruggekregen probeerde ik het nog een keer. Weer hetzelfde verhaal, erg gek. Ik bestel hier nooit meer wat!
