My experience has been 100% positive. I own four cars all of them have Avalon King ceramic coating on them and they all look amazing. When you take your time and do a really good detail and polishing of your vehicle, you need a coating like Avalon King to protect that finish. Your car will look amazing and the maintenance is so simple. I typically do a Decon once a year and then throw on a fresh coat of Avalon King just to keep everything pristine. I do my weekly maintenance on the cars with the new Avalon King shampoo. It’s amazing too. I really love the product and highly recommend it and use it myself.

You really have to wonder why you used to have to be trained and certified to install a ceramic coating? I used the Armour Shield IX coating and honest it was the easiest coating I have ever applied! I was religious on coating my car(s) with really high-end waxes, which was a lot harder than installing AS IX. The shine and water beading is absolutely awesome! I did a level 1 paint correction, which is a little bit of work but results are well worth the effort! Do your self a favour, you won’t regret it!

In 2021 I put the Avalon King, Armor Shield lX on my GV80. It was a time consuming job to prep the car but easy to apply the product. The shine and hydrophobic properties were awesome! Four years later now the shine is equal to the day I put it on and the hydrophobic properties still make it a breeze to clean the paint. What probably has helped is that I apply a ceramic detailer on the car after each wash. Additionally, when I had a question that I asked via email, I received a quick response. Great Product - this year I put it on my wife's new truck.

I am a shine enthusiast. I put myself through college detailing cars and have maintained all my vehicles throughout my life. I like shine and durability, not always available in the same product. Four years ago 2021, I used Avalon King on my Dark Blue metallic Porsche 911. I spent the time to prepare my car's paint so it was perfect, color corrected and swirl free. Following the directions for application, I applied a complete coat to all exterior surfaces. When it was done, I applied a full second coat, since I had the product left over. The next day, I applied a topper to make the surface even more slick. The color of my car was deeper and the shine was amazing. Even my wife noticed, and that is saying something. Fast forward four years. I wash my car every month (living in Arizona, this isn't always necessary. Each time I washed, I used a neutral foam, foam, rinse foam method with the sponge wash during the second foam. Water beading was... amazing. I did decontaminate using an Iron decontaminate where break dust would hit. This maintained the water beading. When dry, I applied a topper spray (one spray per panel). My water beading lasted the whole four years. I decided to apply another two coats at this time and have remained very satisfied with the product performance. I recommended this product to many friends and family and have helped several neighbors apply the product. Everyone has enjoyed the same satisfaction as me. This is a great DIY coating, highly recommended.

I will admit to deep reservations about a DIY ceramic coating, however AvlonKing Armor Shield IX is amazing! The documentation on the product claims a 2 year life. I applied the coating to my 2019 vehicle 5 years ago and every 2 years re-detail with their S102 boost spray. The body sheds water and dirt just as it did when I first applied the AS IX! I will qualify this with the fact that my truck is in a covered garage when not driven, and has only 36,000 miles on the odometer, but I have not seen a professionally applied ceramic coating of comparable age that looks any better. I love AK products!
