Ordered online for same day in store pickup at West Hartford CT store. No notice that store was out of part. Tried to cancel order. Customer service online no help. Finally got a call from District Manager. Super guy got the part but I had to drive about 30 miles to get it day after original same day pickup. Took many phone calls and emails before this Manager got it settled. Will never go into West Hartford store again or order online.

Ordered a Reese hitch and was told I would get it within a week. A few days later got an email that said the supplier was out of stock. It took about a week to get a refund. Their vehicle parts search is not always accurate. The hitch I ordered turned out to be the wrong one for my vehicle. Found out on another website. Found one on PartsGeek.com for $35 less.

I visited my local Auto zone in Helena, Montana. Would not order again or go in the store again. i am not happy with the way they treated me. Manager and staff were rude and were not very kind about a return item.

My order was canceled 3 business days after placing my order because they realized they were out of stock. I paid for expedited shipping, yet it takes 3 business days to process an order? My debit card was charged immediately upon check out, yet my refund will take 3-5 business days to post back to my account. I need my car for my job, so this is time that I wasn't able to work. I ultimately had to pay 40% more to get the part from the dealership. For what should have been an easy transaction and an easy fix to repair my car, AutoZone made this far more stressful and expensive than it should have been. I won't order from them again.

Autozone at 91st ave.and Northern, Peoria,AZ Been going there since it opened,Autozone rewards customer and have just about rebuilt two vehicles using thier parts. But not any longer! I understand that the company moves people around, but seems like they keep putting the problem children in charge at this location! Put up with three obnoxious managers in a row for four years now, even figured out when they didn't work and went only on thier days off. But not playing that game any longer! Do have to, since the Napa Auto parts store moved closer to my house! Later Autozone! !!!

at autozone.com there is an ads saying save 20% on order and free next day shipping so I put the code in but it wound not take. there was no listing under the terms and conditions of the part being excluded. when I called them they said they had a hidden list that the public could not that listed of over a thousand parts not eligible for the discount. what a shady business practice. I am not going to recommend autozone to anyone anymore

I ordered an alternator online. When I found out it was my battery and not the alternator, I returned the part to the Amelia Ohio AutoZone. I was told I would get a refund within 3-5 business days. Here we are 13 physical days and 9 business days, no refund, over drafted $33, and still no money back. I called customer service multiple times. I was told this would be escalated to a manager and receive a call back within 24 hours. 72 hours later and I only have gotten a response from email asking for my return number. I gave them the return number and they say it's my bank holding my money. I called the bank for a 3rd time, my bank never holds credits and issues them immediately. So customer service is trying to cover their tracks for the mistakes they've made. Since customer service sucks, I decided to call the store and the manager. He says it looks like it was put in as a part swap. I never traded out a part I brought it back for a refund. When he gave me a receipt it said $162.02 and he said this is being refunded. Horrible experience all around. I'm going to file a complaint with the BBB to step in and help me get my money back.

Will never use them again. A woman who does many of her own car repairs is standing in line and has to keep waiting as guy gets back in line and is served more than once. Clerk says nothing. Walked out and took her dollars elsewhere. Their loss is Advance Auto Parts gain which is just down the street in Gahanna and they don't favor one gender to the detriment of another. Wake up, guys. No one wants to witness guys treating women like crap.
