AutoZone has absolutely no customer service beyond their stores. I have called their customer service 800 number six times without ever getting a person, only leaving a message. I was assured someone would call me back they have not. I called the store to get a number From their employees to talk to a person, and after searching for a while, they could not give me any alternate number. This is a sad way for a major company to do business.

Carshield claims a part ordered thru Autozone to be delivered 3 days ago they (Autozone) were just to busy will be an extra day. Next day they claim attempted delivery but dealership refused part. Called Autozone they claim they have no record of part order. All I know is I have to pay 200 dollars to source part locally because I am being lied to by one or both and cannot be told when part may be delivered

Auto Zone,.. If you're a woman it's better not to go alone, Or if possible record the experience on your phone, On a personal note I'd rather send my clone, That's how bad the entire Shopping experience was, Once again keeping it 💯 I've never given a bad review just because,.. Quite the contrary, I've literally returned to the same store, Hoping the service merits a way better score, But unfortunately their customer service, Not only merited a lower rating they merited that I walk out the door, And come back no more, To Auto zone I give you guys A negative four, Your customer service was worst than before, And if that's not bad enough It was the worst from the moment I walked thru the door! Sorry guys. Hope y'all don't trip on this, But gotta keep it real, it is what it is,...

BE AWARE RV SHOPPERS. I generally use Costco for their Marine 12month warranty Interstate batteries, but I was in AutoZone and noticed the cranking amps were 900, as opposed to 700 from Costco for roughly the same price. RV batteries usually last barely 2 years due to heat in Arizona, and my batteries were almost there, so decided to switch to the Duralast battery from AutoZone. I had put two camping trips on the batteries and they performed well, but let the RV set for 3 months in storage.When I went to charge them they showed bad on charger. Took them back to AutoZone in Goodyear, where Daniel Gonzales of of Sarival is the owner. Store confirmed, they were bad, but since they were only 6 months old, I figured warranty would cover. I figured wrong. I was informed the batteries have a 90 day warranty on them. I had purchased two for roughly, $200 and got two camping trips out of them! Store manager would not even consider helping me out. Funny thing is clerk that helped me out thought they had a one year warranty as well! I see a lot of these retail stores closing their doors, because Amazon and Costco is gobbling them up, due to their exceptional customer service policies. I see the overall ratings of Auto Zones locally, and all I can say is people are getting a level of service, and are expecting it from the competition. Auto zone failed miserably on a good customer service experience. I reached out to their corporate customer service website, we will see if they have a different viewpoint of the value of a 20 year customer.

A member of my family worked for autozone corporate office in downtown memphis. Her time there was very toxic and caused alot of strain. She found out her boss Cassie Bates who was in a committed relationship was having an affair with a higher VP in the company who was also married and committed. She was then influenced into going out and drinking with them and another VP of the company Dennis Leriche, during business hours. Cassie was promising my family member a big raise and kept having her tag along on these dates calling them work events so it wouldn't appear as a date during business hours. Then my family member was persuaded to engage in a sexual affair with Dennis leriche. After several sexual interactions during work hours her big raise was pushed thru as promised. But now months later things got so toxic and so awkward that she was forced to relocate and accept a job at another company just to get away. By now the damage has been done physically and mentally.

AutoZone Auto Parts 1001 6th Ave SE, Decatur, AL 35601 Auto parts store Rhonda Verbosh 42 points 2 days ago Went in to the Decatur store on 6th avenue on Saturday the 28th of December and told Matt that my battery had to be jumped off for the past 3 days in order to drive the car. He jumped my car off then used his diagnostic tool and told me my alternator was no good. I bought a new alternator from him and my brother in law installed it that day. Sunday morning, got off work in H'ville and had the same problem. Took the battery out and my brother in law and I took the battery and the old alternator to the AutoZone on Governors. James ran a test on both and told us that the old alternator was good and that the battery was bad and that Matt knew better than to check the battery/alternator with the car running because " it'll show a bad alternator EVERY time". I said, "why did he do it then?" and James's response, without even a second of hesitation, was " to sell you a part". He went on to say that once an alternator is installed, they can't take them back...but the Decatur store " might be willing to work with you". Even if the store said they would take the alternator back, do they expect my brother in law to take off work to switch the parts back out again...Im a female that knows nothing about cars ( the reason I was snookered to begin with)....and having to do that all because someone knew I wouldn't know any better and they could sell me a $300 part instead of a $190 battery....now I've had to buy both for a total of almost 500.00. What if my brother in law wasn't available that day to install the new part and I'd have had to pay for installation too? What if I couldn't have found someone to install the alternator ( that wasn't needed) on a Saturday, and had to miss work causing a loss of income....all in all, I had the real potential of being out of pocket a total of about 1200.00 because Matt didn't want to just sell a battery that he knew he would be putting in the car for me? Thanks AutoZone! Lesson learned!

The Autozone in Trenton NJ on South Broad Street. The system has been down for the past three days only taking cash and writing handwritten receipts. The Store could not help me look up the parts I need for my car. It's not the employees, doing but the Autozone.

I ordered the part I needed on December 3rd. It was suppose to be here on the 6th. Even customer service said the 6th when I contacted them. The guy that was going to do the work came Friday the 6th. No part showed up. So now I owe for his coming out. Then i was told the 7th. Well it is 12:19 am the 8th. Still no part. Now I'm being told it will be Tuesday the 10th. Very unprofessional. I was lied to from the beginning since it was in Memphis till Saturday morning. Now it's in route to Ohio,then to West Virginia. I will never do business with them again.
