AutoZoneReviews of autozone.com

Went to auto zone on Rt 413 in Bristol, PA on two occasions! Both times I was charged a higher price than the price tag on the shelf stated! Both times I was told someone put those items in the wrong location! They have a serious Integrity issue! I will not shop them anymore! There is a Advanced Auto store just as close to me!

Store 1223 St Augustine FL Had starting issue with the Harley and figured it was the battery (been there). Pulled the battery and being in a hurry to ride took it to the closest parts store, AutoZone. The guy put his tester to it and said it was good to go, no issue even under load. So, hoping not to take it to dealer for solenoid or starter, I put it back in and cleaned all the solenoid/starter connectors and terminals, etc. Still died trying to start, so I put the Multimeter to it while hitting the starter (admit, my bad for not checking, assuming needed new battery). When cranking, the voltage dropped to ‘5’ volts NEED NEW BATTERY! That salesman caused repeated pulling/replacing bad battery and missed out on the $150 new battery I bought from Advance Auto Parts (again, my bad ‘cause that’s my normal go to store). Riding several hours later.

I purchased a set of Duralast Ceramic rotors with a warranty for my 2015 Honda Pilot about 6 months ago and found that they warped. Took them off my vehicle to return them and get a new set but they did not have them in stock. So, had to put them back on and wait a month for them to get the new ones in. They called for me to pick them up but would not allow me to take them until I took the old rotors off yet again---this is understandable, but the problem is the after market parts do not always fit, so I needed to make sure they were correct before returning them. The store manager would have none of this and insisted that I pay for them again---ridiculous after the amount of money I spend in the Rockingham, NC store(store number: 2412)! Had a similar situation with O'Reilly's, but they trusted me enough to swap out the parts and bring them back. In today's economy, I would think businesses want to build partnerships and trust with their valued customers. Going forward, I have decided to take all of my business to O'Reilly's due to their customer valued approach and appreciation of my business and will no longer spend another hard earned dollar with the Auto Zone Franchises.

If i could give Fredericktown, MO AutoZone negative stars I would! Called in to check to see if they had brake rotors for our car, spoke with Brian Blann, the manager, and was told yes they have them in stock and he would put a hold on them til I got there. So I drive 30 miles ONE WAY to watch the Manager and 2 employees look for the rotors, going back and forth to the isle and computer, then Brian makes a call and and says well your only option is Farmington Store. UMM NO! This happens EVERY time, you are told they have the part only to get there and they don't have it or you are given the wrong part. This store really needs competent workers that will actually do their job. The ONLY worker there that does is Jeff Miller. This is also the same store that gave my daughter, a Marine home on leave, issues for wearing a mask! We will not go back, i will give our business to the competition right up the road or order online!!

I bought a Battery with 5 Year Warranty. Have Replaced it twice and now on 3rd try in less that 2 Months. My Mechanic said battery was bad ( Not Alternator). I went to Autozone to get a 3rd replace and showed the papers from my Mechanic. They told me nothing was wrong with the battery and would not replace it last week. It would not start the day after and had to jump it again to evacuate! Now after a 10 hour Drive, it is once again a dead battery. Closest Autozone is 6 miles from where I am stranded and too dangerous to cross the interstate. Battery will not even hold a charge to get it started and leaking battery acid from the top.

The Autozone on 3513 Cannon Road ripped me off 240.00 dollars . I bought a brand new Optima battery and it turned out the battery was not my issue . They would not return the battery or give me my perfectly good battery back that was tested and perfectly fine . I have been a loyal customer for quite some time . I will never shop here again . Lost a customer for life . I work on cars all the time and will spend my money elsewhere . I will certainly let Optima Battery know of my experience here .

Haven’t been to autozone in five years because of a battery problem. Tried to go get some silicone today. A guy comes in while I am standing waiting to pay and asks a few questions about spark plugs for a Ford tempo. He asks if it’s hard to change them. The cashier says yes you have to take all the emissions off first. I threw the silicone on the counter and said still have stupid people here five years later.

Have tried to recycle my oil from my Prius, twice I have had the same persons (Lee & Andrew) tell me they cannot take my oil because they smelled gas in it. I’m not adding gas to my oil in order to be responsible and recycle it. I drive a hybrid electric because I’m conscious of my environment. To be accused of adding gas to my oil was insulting enough but to have my integrity questioned in front of other customers and be cursed at is completely unacceptable. They also told me I was no longer welcomed in their store which will not be a problem as there are plenty of other businesses that treat their customers with integrity and respect.
