I went to AutoZone to purchase a can of red paint enamel well they're enable pain is 14.99 I can.. it's a little on the high side seeing as Walmart has it for 6.79 meijer's has it for $7.79, home Depot 7.79. you can say bright red cap says bright red it's orange is orange can be and ruined everything I had sanded said to buy more sandpaper wasted 20 bucks and 6 hours of my life and now I got to get red paint. So I call that price gouging and poor quality not to mention that you need two cans to paint your mirror cuz it's so thin. I'm getting so sick of getting ripped off in places like this. It's like they try to get rich off of each individual person. There should be a law I should be able to get my money back or or something but I can't do nothing because AutoZone doesn't care enough to make it right. When really if they cared they would take it back and they would call the people who made it and get their money back from them that's how it works. But you got a care enough to go through an effort to make your customers happy and that doesn't seem to be cost efficient So after all said and done I'll have about $40 in on a can of red enable paint ....wish i could show a pic of this bright orange in a bright red can .

Customer service??? Went to the Naugatuck store and stood there ( not only me but tow others) for 10 minutes waiting to be waited on as it took three employees to take care of one customer. Not one of them acknowledged us to even say, be right with you. Not only that, I took the store manager- who happened to be passing by - had to stop in and help her “family.” Been going here for years, and this has been the worse I have seen. Need to schedule someone with store experience if all these employees are in training.

Recently ordered and paid for fuses online because it showed “in stock” at my location. I was contacted and told it was not and would be there in the a.m. No problem. The next day when I went to pick them up I found the manager because the store was busy telling him I had an online purchase to pick up. He said I had to get in line with everyone else who was shopping for their part or having their car scanned or having their battery checked etc. I was frustrated at having to wait when I had already purchased the fuses and said so. He did not care explaining there was only two people ahead of me! The gasket just blew! THERE IS NO ADVANTAGE TO PURCHASING ONLINE EXCEPT ADDED FRUSTRATION!!!! Never wonder how AMAZON became a behemoth and is still growing!!! People like this manager are sending us to them. I owned a successful business for twenty years and retired. I know what good service looks like and this ain’t that!

Online order for parts, placed on Autozone.com, has not been picked up by the store clerks correctly. I also never received any email confirmation of it (despite CC charge, which shows that the order went through). This time it ended up being "just" an inconvenience since the shop had the parts in store when I went to pick them up... but it could have been worse.

I ordered an item online and was sent the wrong item. Because there is not an Autozone within 50 miles of where I live, returning the item by mail made the most sense. To my astonishment, I received an email stating that if I were to return the item via postal service I would only be refunded the purchase price; not shipping. Unbelievable.

They have an unfair return policy. We bought an alternator for our car thinking that we could return it if our current one was still good. The girl who worked there did not tell us there is an electronic policy. We found out that our alternator was good and we couldn't return the one we bought. I wish she told us about this before so that we could have taken our alternator out firs to check it. Now we are stuck with an alternator we don't need.
