I went ahead and went through AutoZone because they were having a sale. This is the first time I’ve purchased from them.. it was an incredibly horrible experience. I should’ve known better to go to the advanced auto parts up the street.. not only are they much nicer they work with you before canceling your order. Because there was a few things on my order that AutoZone did not have they canceled my whole order. They didn’t do anything to try and source the parts from another store.. they put me in a position where I was not able to fix my car because I had to wait for all of my money to come back to me. This has been extremely inconvenient and I will absolutely advise anyone. I know to never shop here. They should think about hiring more friendly people as well.

First things first, I’ve worked for AutoZone for 19 half years. And we always took pride in great customer service. So once I became the customer things changed. I sent my daughter to the store # 0202 to exchange a starter that was diagnosed too small for my vehicle, I want to upgrade to the 100% new starter . When searching for my warranty the customer service representative stated it was no where to be found. After going back and forth the rep continued to say it wasn’t under warranty. So when I decided to call another store spoke with the rep and immediately he found my warranty, gave me the date it was purchased, how I paid, and told me it was still under warranty. Now we’re back at the store where it was originally purchased. Only to find out that the upgrade starter was at another store 4279 ,asked the manager Mrs Max can we do a BHPUT and the answer was no all I could do is put it on hold. Poor service.Shout out to Chris @ 0208 for his great help not because I’m a retired employee but because he treat me like a loyal customer.

My review on auto zone pays their workers cheap and they are all young kids. I have seen people with new and brand name vehicles that goes there to have their vehicles fixed. Like I said these are kids with no experience to fix any vehicle. So don’t complain about your repairs, they are not a dealership, you get what you pay for. I just go there to buy parts for my car. Will not have anyone there touch my vehicle.

I ordered a fuel pump online from AutoZone.com (MU1739) and waited for 4 days only to see it cancelled. When I called they said they couldn't get it even though the website clearly shows it as "in stock" even while I was talking to them. What a cluster f... I won't be giving them any future business.

This is my review for AutoZone ordering parts online. I made two separate purchases, which both said they would be delivered next day by 3pm. The only reason I ordered online was because my vehicle is down and I need this part. I could have paid for same-day delivery, but I decided to use the free next day delivery because that's when AutoZone said it was available. Next day came and one part was delivered. I tracked the other part all day and it was on its way up until 2pm, then all of a sudden they changed the delivery status to be delivered tomorrow. Another day, for no reason. Like they just set it aside and said we'll get to it tomorrow. I called customer service. They told me because it was coming from the warehouse, it takes them 24 hours to process orders before they ship and deliver. They said sorry and were no help at making it right. It didn't say that anywhere during my order process. They just take your money right away and then don't care. In my opinion, this is false advertising. They trick you into ordering your parts saying it will be delivered next day when in fact they don't care and will take however long they want. This is absolutely terrible business! I could have gotten a family member or a friend to pick up my part for me, but I chose to put my faith in AutoZone. Never again. I lost 2 days waiting for my part. Two days I could have already been working on my vehicle and not be stuck without transportation. I care for my mother and sister both on hospice and I need a working vehicle. So, this isn't just about me. After this, I'm not sure I'll be giving AutoZone any of my business ever again. And I'll also be sharing this with everyone else. Thanks AutoZone for nothing and not caring.

Ordered parts for same day delivery,paid extra for the same day delivery, well the parts never came, this is the 2nd time this has happened, called customer service was told to talk to the store manager from the store that they were being delivered from, I did, she couldn't do anything so after calling customer service again, they gave me a $15 digital gift card...my Uber round trip was $50. Never again...

This is a review of the AutoZone store in Owego, NY of their lack of willingness to assist Handicapped customers. I had gone into the store looking for a battery for my Lawn Tractor. After waiting for my turn (15 min.) I Went up to the counter and asked for a battery where the young man said he could not help me; at which point I left and went to NAPA the next day and the were very happy to assist me.

The KID that helped me was a complete idiot and knew absolutely nothing. When I tried to get some help with something else he disappeared because he knew he didn't know anything and didn't want to help anyone. The store at 1200 Military Highway is absolutely worthless.. I had to go to advanced Auto to get help. I will never ever come to the store again.
