I place in online order. It was scheduled to be delivered on a certain day. It never came. I didn't get any notice until almost week later. I will not order anything from your website again. They kept saying delay for about a week. Today they email and say item out of stock. I think they knew for a week.

Just a phone call away
10/26/2024-Autozone Lewiston 21st Street.
My experience calling AutoZone today. Someone answers the phone stating this is AutoZone, how can I help you. I asked this person “who is this?” He stated, this is AutoZone, how can I help you. I asked for a name from this person and what I got, was a whole lot of laughter and the statement of “I'm not required to give you my name” I was shocked and surprised and hung up. After a couple minutes I called back and this same person answered the phone. I asked to talk to a manager and he says “Thank you for calling AutoZone, how can I help you”. Trying to pass off as the manager. I again asked to speak to the manager and this person says, okay hold on. After waiting a couple of minutes. Brent answers the phone. He States that he is the manager. I told Brent that I didn't think it was appropriate to receive the answer I got from a simple question, asking for a first name. Brent said that AutoZone policy does not require one to give a name. Okay, That's fine. But what about the answer I got when I asked for one. I could see that the person who answered the phone was feeding off the way the managers viewed how customer service should be projected. Not sure if this is AutoZone's policy or not but I will find out. The rest of the conversation with Brent only showed that he was going to do business the way that he wanted to do business.
Now back up 6 years ago. I had a customer service issue with this AutoZone 6 years ago. I have not stepped foot into this AutoZone until I took a friend a week ago to pick up a part from them. This friend had no idea about my customer service issue 6 years ago. He does now. And he states that he will not step into this AutoZone again. Because it had been 6 years and my friend, picking up the part last week. I thought fair enough. I will try calling in regards to a part they may have. With this second experience I think AutoZone and my relationship are over.

Very poor customer service
I have been a customer of Autozone for several years. Recently I went to the AutoZone located on 122nd avenue and 8th street to buy a grease pistol device. After I purchased it I noticed that it was defective and not working properly when I opened the box at home. I went back to return it for another one and I was told by the employee Yali Gaviero Quiroga that I could not return it without my receipt. I told her that if she looked in my account with my phone number she can see the purchase from 1 hour ago and she told me that she cannot do anything without my receipt. She was very rude and unprofessional. I asked for the manager and he immediately started to help me and tried to teach the employee how do the return through my account. During my course at the place I started to tell to this person that she should have better manners with customers and if she doesn't know how to do her job she can ask for a supervisor, and not be rude to customers. Even in front of her manager she was never receptive, very unprofessional, and passive aggressive. I felt like I was back in Cuba. I believe that for a customer service job you need to be more professional and ask for help before being rude. I was very disappointed in the way I was treated by this employee. I believe that we live in a country where customer service is key. Autozone should be more selective in the people they hire for these positions.

Autozone unfriendly customer service
I was given a wrong part from an store in William Cannon and went to another store west hwy 71 to return, not only they refused to take the part back with receipt , they told me to take back to the same autozone. I asked why?
And here is their answer.
"If you go to mc Donald and get the burger you should take it to same store."

I've been doing business with Autozone…
I've been doing business with Autozone for over 30 years, I just recently tried to purchase brakes on a lifetime warranty from 3 years ago, I was told because I didn't use the breaks I purchased 3 years ago on the warranty, but rather returned them, I was recently told I had no warranty because I had returned them 3 years ago when I plainly told them I didn't need them because the noise I heard was brake dust, I'm very very displeased with Autozone for this stupid policy, it this is their policy, and not just some recently hired manager who plainly has a big head and can't handle the authority, don't purchase anything from Delhi Autozone on Delhi pike Cincinnati Ohio, I won't even so much a buy a single spark plug at Autozone ever again over this! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Poor
I visited the store in Brookhaven,MS. The lady at the counter was moving so slow. It was bad enough the line was long and even worse She made me wait another 20 minutes on a part because she said she was pregnant and couldn’t pick it up. Hope the young lady doesn't do it to all of her customers. Pregnant or not a job has to be done. Wasted my entire lunch break!

On the AutoZone website it says we're here to help well I'm a witness to the man Justin purchase a battery at AutoZone both the gentleman who sold it to him remember him cuz he's kind of hard to forget with only one arm buying a battery from them they recognize the battery that he's trying to use the warranty on and by the time we left the store all of a sudden they've got amnesia they can't help the guy get the warranty on his battery He's got one arm his car broke down from the battery he goes in the store someone breaks in his car and stoles his wallet so no he doesn't have a receipt The one arm guy has the battery the guy's remember selling him the battery but obviously they didn't do their diligence and list the battery under the right information and all he wants to do is get his warranty and I've never seen such ignorant behavior from those two people one being the part sales manager on graveyard and the other gentleman said it is what it is I can't help you even though he remembers selling him the battery this is the most ignorant thing I've ever seen in my life if it was more than one star it'd be too much.

Company does not honor warranty
The company did not stand behind the warranty for a Duralast battery. I believe this is actually the brand specifically manufactured for AutoZone. The story:
I live in the Phoenix AZ area of USA but spend a lot of time in Mexico. While in Mexico my battery was dying. I went to AutoZone in Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, Mexico to buy a battery. Before (paying more) buying the battery I specifically asked both the employee and the manager if the warranty (pro-rated exchange) carried over to AutoZone in the US. I was told by both people, multiple times that AutoZone would honor the pro-rated warranty if needed. So I paid more, only to have the warranty. In the AZ heat the battery died in 28 months. AutoZone refused to honor their company warranty. I emailed the company. The initial reply stated: we are not able to honor the warranty. I replied and the next email stated: we escalated this situation to Mesa regional office. I replied that this is not a particular city problem but an AutoZone attempting to save a few dollars by being crooks. In the (AutoZone) AZO Corporate Governance, part D, 1st section: Integrity and Accountability....... apparently not.
The Mexico store has the exact same signage, colors, store layout and except for the language one would not be able to determine they were not in the USA. So instead of doing the correct, honorable thing (which probably would have cost less than $50 or $100), AutoZone has gone the way of the scumbags.
We have a 2014 Jeep and a 2004 Pilot. I have purchased many parts , fluids and items from AutoZone for these vehicles. That will never happen again. For (probably) a few dollars this dishonorable company loses the business of 2 older vehicle repairs and maintenance. Simply amazing the short sightedness of the company. I will also tell everyone I talk to (when talking vehicles) about the fact that AutoZone does not stand behind its own policies nor its stated Corporate Governance.
Good job AutoZone, keep up the customer deletions!!!!
