I think they should give you at least two days to really visit and enjoy the places because we couldn’t even properly appreciate each place we went to. It was more like, “Okay, you’ve seen it, that’s enough, let’s go,” and we didn’t even have time to eat at any point because we were moving so quickly. I would have liked them to give us at least five or ten minutes at each place so we could actually take our time, admire everything, and really understand and appreciate the attractions.

The LC changes too much. Finally when we got one that stuck around, she was incredibly rude to the host parents and uniquely unhelpful to the au pair. The onus is on the host parents (most commonly the woman in the relationship if there is one) to help the au pair navigate common challenges an au pair agency is better placed to address. It often feels like the agency is a very expensive scam being pulled on the families and the au pairs.

Thoroughly verify the families to ensure the children don't have any underlying issues requiring special treatment. Pay closer attention to au pairs because there's a lack of follow-up.

I think the agency should have been more infinitive and explain better what involves the extension for the AuPair. If there is a fee how much , type of visa for the AuPair , if there is any limitations etc etc etc … not making us sign something with a ton of pages without any explanation at all. I didn’t like the fact agency look for the cheapest fly for the AuPair to arrive to their final destination .. they made my AuPair staid at like 3 or 4 am on her connection to her final destination … with all the money the AuPair agency receive at least buy a decent fly for the AuPair at a decent time !! The AuPair meetings should be during the weekends !! Not in a daily basis !!

Communication with the agency has been inconsistent and extremely challenging as noted by another reviewer. Staff were late to scheduled calls, the telephone lines ring endlessly with no response, emails go unanswered and emails from the agency appear to be auto generated (based on the mismatched font type and color). I recommend using one of the many other agencies.

They were very helpful before I landed in the US. However, when I was in rematch, I would have appreciated more assistance from the agency. It is a good agency, however, a lot can be done to better the experience for the au pairs, as well as the families. The agency should have done more to support the au pairs during this pandemic. As au pairs, we would also like more information about what the agency is doing to try and save the au pair program.
