It is difficult to find a weekend class that is accepted. I don't understand why 72 hour classes are not accepted or other courses that are a little more fun. Many other agencies accept them. (Example disney world weekend class)

We understand that balancing au pair life and education can be a real challenge. I've passed on your feedback to our team for consideration. Thank you for sharing!

I have only one complaint about InterExchange (and it is a very important one for me), you guys say that traveling and getting to know the USA is part of program but, when it comes to accept classes that have traveling and studying at the same time (like Au Pair Classroom/Au Pair Weekend), you guys do not accept the class while all the others agencies do! It’s frustrating and unfair. Getting the chance to travel and meet new people would be better than staying at home in front of a computer taking online classes!

Dear Vitoria, Thank you for your review and feedback. We are happy to hear that you are mostly pleased with Au Pair USA so far! We also understand that you are disappointed by some limits on educational options. I can tell you this is a topic we discuss very frequently and take very seriously. We absolutely want au pairs to travel and meet people as part of your program experience. We also want to uphold the academic requirements of the educational component because this is an important requirement of the program. I can assure you that we do our best and evaluate each class that is presented to us to determine whether it meets the intention of the Department of State's program Regulations. If we find that it does, then we accept that class. If you need more assistance with this topic, please contact Amber Guarente at [email protected].

This is a good experience, but I would like to you consider the salary of futures au pairs.

I think the agency could help more the aupair before they start the process to meet a family so then the aupair will know exactly what to expect about the family and what are the things that the aupair needs to know about what she wants on a family. Also I think the agency can make more online or in person things for the aupairs so then we can meet other aupairs around us. And the last thing try to be sure the family's know what are the roles that the aupair are going to make on the family so then they are not going to make feel that the aupair is just a worker or something like a cleaning lady or full time nanny. I think the program is good ,but we can always make it better for the families and the aupairs

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! We can certainly look for ways to improve the program and set people's expectations correctly. The au pair position has clearly defined limits and anytime those are exceeded or ignored, please contact your LC and let them know. We review all situations and will be able to help you. Best, The Au Pair USA team

I think that Au Pairs must receive more support from the agency and also better pay.

Is a good experience but not all the families are good hosts, my first family wasn't what I expected. The second one was a blessing, initially they weren't with Interexchange though.

Dear Roxana, We are sorry to hear that your first family wasn't a good fit for you! We are happy to hear that you are having a better experience now! I hope the rest of your program is amazing! Thanks for the feedback! Best Regards, Michael

During the interviews process, au pairs should be able to have more host families “on view” in their profiles, because one host family per the time make less chances of connections. Host families should provide more information about them, like schedule, room, bathroom, car rules, house rules, rules in general.

Dear DF, Thanks for the feedback on the application process. We are always working to make the online experience better for au pairs and families. You have some great suggestions and we have recently discussed these with our tech team. We completely agree that these would improve the process. Change doesn't happen fast, but it will happen as we make future improvements. Thanks again for the feedback!

Everything was Okei but when I arrived I haven’t feel like the agency is helping with all the coronavirus problems. I couldn’t get my social security card because offices are closed so I can’t get my license and my bank account and the agency doesn’t help with this or try to give us another option.

Dear Maria, Thanks for taking the time to leave us feedback. Your LC will be reaching out to you to provide specific assistance. Thanks again! Best, Michael
