As a non-profit organization staffed by parents and world travelers, we understand the value of strong support!We believe that childcare should be more than just a service—it should be an enriching experience that connects families with the world.Our program is a Department of State-designated sponsorship that connects qualified international au pairs with host families across the United States.Unlike traditional daycare or nanny services, the Au Pair program offers unparalleled flexibility. An au pair lives in your home and can provide up to 45 hours of care per week and up to 10 hours per day.

An unpredictable year but great all the same
I've had a pretty good time with AU Pair USA. My time here though truly unpredictable, has so far been great. My one issue is that of Taxes. It was all very complicated and to be frank, as an au pair I'm not going to be spending what money i have on help or having someone do it for me. A specific page of help and links and to the point guide of understanding the tax forms etc would be useful as its something we all struggle with. Someone we can reach out too who can actually help us would be useful too. But apart from that, its all pretty great!

Good
It's been good so far. My LCC has always been in touch with us. It would be better if there were more families in Oregon from the agency to have more connections.

Is a good programa, I never had a problem with Interexchange, my LC is awesome and I found a great host family.

Great experience over all.
I’m already on my second year, with the same family since the first day, and I’m really glad I did this!!! In my opinion the most important part is the interview with the family. I think agencies could help us more with this and give us more advice about what to ask or what to expect. Because I remember I was really nervous and I had to search on the internet some questions for the families, so I wouldn’t miss anything. This is a crucial part of our life as au pairs. Also I think agencies could help you more with the taxes, because they only tell you when you should do it and where to find the documents, but that’s it. I know LCC’s are not tax experts, but I think it would be easier if they give us a tutorial or some examples.

Even if you are American and have been doing your taxes for years, they can still be confusing. We can certainly look into providing more information about how to complete them. We like the information about having interview information, tips, and sample questions available for au pairs. It’s a good program
It’s a good program, but I think that with all the COVID-19 situation they should be more present.

Great experience!
In my opinion Interexchange as sponsor does a great job, they try to have excellent communication, they also seek the well-being of both parties (au pair- host family), my LC does a great job of keeping up to date with everything and keeping the cluster together.

Inter exchange such a nice program.
Inter exchange have nice families and LCC, they always support each au pair and they try to do fun activities for all au pairs in USA. They always want the best experience as foreign.
