nothing but inferior information, and installation.
Customer services in all departments is inferior. Placed on hold so many times and for long periods of time as I awaited information. Xfinity is far superior in internet, television, and phone services. I left Xfinity-Comcast due to their billing methods. Was a loyal customer for several years until our bill reached over $300 a month. Consumers are at the mercy of technology. We will keep looking for other options.

Have not received my order
I ordered August 3rd, was told I would have my cable box and modem before my service was turned on, on August 8th. I haven't received anything, do not know if my service even works and still will have to end up paying for it.

Wow....customer service SUCKS
Thought I signed up for service then I get an email telling me my service cannot be processed. I call, wait on hold for 15 minutes and then a lady answers who breathes SO loud into the phone I can barely hear what she is saying (nor can I understan her broken english) over the LOUD background noise of the call center she is obviously in. Horrible. Had to be transferred 3 times before I had to hang up because I was on a time constraint.
Very disappointing!

Worst customer service ever!
I recently placed an order for U-verse internet because my rate plan had gone up from Comcast and I'd planned on switching over to a cheaper provider. What a mistake that was! First off, my order couldn't be completed online, even after performing a credit check and passing. This should've been a red flag, but I decided to call and speak to a representative about the matter. After confirming my order with the information I had entered online, I had to submit to another credit check, even though the first one was already done. Everything checked out, and a few days later I received the equipment for self-installation. Upon installing the equipment I couldn't get an internet connection, so I called the customer service line and spoke with a representative that basically told me the modem was fine, but there may be a problem with the network, etc. and they'd have to send a technician out to test the lines, and depending on the problem I may be charged a $99 fee! Reluctantly I agreed to have a tech come out the next day, specifically stating that I wouldn't be available until after 6pm due to work and other personal responsibilities. Noted. "Okay, cool. Now we're getting somewhere", I thought. So the next day rolls around. I'm on the way home and check my cell phone, and see that I have 3 missed calls and two new voicemails. They were from the tech. I got home right around 6pm, as I told them the day before, and check my messages. The first message he left was at 4:45pm. He said he was in a neighboring town and was on the way over. This was over an hour BEFORE my scheduled time. The next VM was at 5:30pm, in which he stated that he arrived at my unit, but needed access to either my apartment and/or the IP room at the main office of the apartment complex, which closed at 5pm. He recommends that I reschedule sometime before 5pm Mon-Fri to check the issue and leaves the property. I tried calling the technician back, but I got no answer (go figure). Now I'm no businessman, but I do know that when a customer has an issue with your service, you're supposed to resolve the issue on their terms, not your own. I had a specific time frame in which I was available, and he failed to show up when requested. He got here early, knew I wouldn't be home, and left anyway without doing anything. That's not how you run a business, AT&T. That's how you lose potential customers, including this one!!

My experience with AT&T
I would NEVER,EVER,recommend AT&T to anyone ever!!I have had a nightmare of an experience trying to set up phone service. For the last 6 months I have been trying to get service set up for my elderly mother in a care facility and I have run into nothing but road blocks.First of all AT&T promised to have phone lines put into the facility by May.Still not finished. The engineer named Ron Bailey from AT&T in Wisconsin did not follow through. In the past month I have once again tried to set up a service order for phone service for my mother and once again I have run into nothing but more road blocks.I put in the order and I talked to a Hispanic rep.who assured me there would be NO problems...but guess what??You guessed it!more problems.I received an email saying there was a problem with the order and that I should call this toll free number and the place I called was out in New Jersey and they were all Hispanic and I could not understand their speaking clearly.I asked for a supervisor and got put on hold forever and no one ever came on the line so I hung up.I called back and talked to yet another Hispanic person that I could barely understand their speaking and they said they could not help me with the problem sooooo, the next day I called the original phone number where I placed the order for new service the day before and talked to a man that I COULD understand BUT,he said once the order has been placed from the day before,he could not help me either. What is up with that??Then I called back the next day and said cancel the order and let us set up a new order so they did and assured me once again all would be fine and guess what??You guessed it again.I received ANOTHER email saying the new order for service has problems and that I should call the toll free number out in NEW JERSEY AGAIN! What is going on with you people. You are going to lose customers with this horrible service.First of all there are too many different phone numbers to reach AT&T.Why can't you just have one main number. It is sooooo confusing. Also it is IMPOSSIBLE to speak to a live customer service rep.It takes like 30-40 minutes just to get through the ridiculous maze of automated voice menus and THEN you get stuck talking to MR.VIRTUAL ROBOT for another half hour and you get NO WHERE.Am I angry and frustrated???YOU BET.Am I going to recommend AT&T to anyone, ever.NO never.I am still going to fight this battle to get my mother phone service with AT&T one more time and if you guys mess it up,yet a fourth time...then I am going to US CELLULAR where you can talk to a real,American person and they have only ONE phone number.Good luck with your company because your monopoly is failing its customers and your potential customers. Thanks for nothing and thanks for no help.I have been very patient and I am out of it.
Sincerely,
MW

Haven't received any information
We ordered DSL service last Wednesday 7/29 and were told it would be up and running in 24-72 hours. Then received an email saying it wouldn't be ready until 8/4. We haven't received any fictional information and not being asked to review the uninstalled product?
