for the two first weeks it was all about trying to get an account set up for the final week finally got the equipment but can actually get it hooked up on the self install and whenever I ask them to have someone send out they had them sent out and never came had to go to work and came 30 minutes after he was supposed to be here some never got it hooked up properly bad service all the way around no compensation nothing at&t is the worst company to go through

I was called by AT&T almost every night regarding U-Verse. The representative made it sound like I had to switch from the modem I had over to U-verse before it stopped working. I said on more than one conversation that I did not want my monthly bill to go up. I already had the bundled package (Phone, Internet, Direct TV) and spent enough money each month and that didn't include my cell phone bill.(my cell phone has unlimited data). I was assured the bill would not go up, the cost was 100.00 but that would be returned with a gift card. Long story short, I recieved 2 bills for At&t and At&t u-verse that totaled 270.00, when they switched to U-verse they unbundled my DIrect TV. This has caused such a mess that I am paying twice this month for Direct TV and I lost the discounts I had there.. In total I have been charged for one month a total of 475.00. If they had just left my bill alone I would have been at 145.00. I spent hours in an online chat with ATT with a promise of return call. I got nothing. I had to call this morning. Even though I paid my AT&T bill on April 2 it appears I also have to pay one on April 22. When they unbundled my account it showed my account was overdue with Direct TV. I have never been late with a payment! A&T said they couldn't bundled it again because it was late. I explained they just took the money out of my account on Tuesday how could I be late? If they call about switching to U-Verse be warned. The representative at Direct said they have recently had this happen to a lot of folks :( The bottom line is this.. 475.00 is WAY too much for entertainment which is pretty much what the internet and house phone would be .. I do like my Direct TV but when it wasat a discount. I will be cancelling this service. I am very upset with the results of 3 days of conversations to end up getting no where.

When I called to get internet installed from AT &T, after being on the phone for 45 minutes I was told they could not give me an install date (due to them not being able to "identify" me which is why the phone call was 45 minutes long. They said they would email me. I explained my phone doesn't received email and I have no internet. AT & T said they would text me. Then while at work the installation guy called me and said he be at my house in 30 minutes. I explained to him I was at work and never received the "text", I cancelled the install for that day. Right after we hung up I got the "text" that the install was for that morning. Checked my email (used my work's internet) as sure enough they emailed me previously advising of the install date. Another call to AT & T. I set the install date up for Saturday. Explained what had happened previously, and said you have to text me. Saturday mooring, after setting my alarm so I made sure I was up between the 8:00 - Noon time range, nothing. Another call to AT & T (and yes it was long). She said we emailed you, we changed the install date. They pushed it back 2 weeks!!!! I've been without internet for 3 weeks at this point, feels like I am living in a 3rd world country. It isn't installed yet, the new date is this coming Saturday. We'll see how this one goes.

Was suppose to get my phone line since the 24th and my home phone hasn't even been fiixed. Really disappointed! Everytime I call customer service it takes me forever to get to an operator and all you guys do is send out a technician which can never do nothing to my phone service. And schedule someone else to come and do it and they aren't able to fix it when do I get my service????

Don't waste your time with AT&T INTERNET CABLE AND PHONE IS DECENT

When my apt window (9-11) passed, I called to confirm the technician was coming. They assured me he was on the way. I waited until 5 and no one came. Now I am without phone/internet until Tues! Unacceptable as I work from home. To make matters worse - I called 4 times on Monday to try to get the issue resolved. Total time on the phone with AT&T on Monday alone was almost 2 hours - repeating my self over and over with each new customer service rep.

My whole experience with AT&T has been horrible. Unfortunately AT&T was the only choice in local home telephone service for my 89 year old grandmother. She was moving to a facility that she needed to switch from her cable/telephone provider to only telephone and AT&T is the service she has to use. First complaint is that you have to wade through numerous automated options (which none of them fit my needs) only to be finally connected to someone who does not speak English very clearly. After being transferred and on the phone for 40 minutes – was finally routed to someone who handled my request promised me what I wanted and scheduled the telephone transfer. The phone was shut off 1 day prior to the day it was supposed to be – leaving my 89 year old grandmother at home without any telephone service at all. Trying to call and get this fixed – I was also routed around and around – never able to talk with a customer service supervisor. The phone was installed on the day it was supposed to be installed, only to find out that she had NO long distance service which was promised and details went over. The phone also was cut off 24 hours after it was installed. Thus my 89 year old grandmother was once again without telephone service for 36 hours. There is NO Customer Service number that you can call and speak to a supervisor. Finally after numerous people from all over the states I finally had someone who was willing to help me and expedite her service and get someone out to fix the phone and make sure that Long Distance was turned on. During my numerous phone calls to AT&T I encountered 3 people who barely spoke English – I couldn’t understand – I was hung up on twice – and had two people were extremely rude and offensive. Everyone however made sure to say “thank you for choosing AT&T and don’t text and drive”. I certainly would not recommend AT&T service to anyone. I wish that we had another option in the area, but we do not.
