Where do I even begin? As a new author, I’ve had my share of disappointing experiences with hybrid publishers who tend to overpromise and underdeliver. So while I know reviews are best written on their own terms, I have to say...finally, I’ve found a publisher that truly stands out: Atmosphere Press. From the start, their team has been reliable, professional, and refreshingly transparent. The quality across every stage, from editing to cover design to publicity, has exceeded my expectations. With my book launching in just two months, the entire process has felt clear, supportive, and genuinely well organized. Publishing is an evolving industry, and as someone just beginning my writing journey, I’m incredibly grateful to have found a home for my work at Atmosphere Press. The team not only knows what they’re doing, but they also guide you step by step, helping you feel prepared and confident as you move through each phase. I was initially hesitant about investing in publicity, especially after trying to piece together my own marketing strategy for the past two years. But now, I feel reassured knowing I have a top-notch team behind me, working to help bring my first novel into the world. After years of prayer, internal debates, research, etc., I finally pulled the trigger and made the proper decision to utilize the services of Atmosphere Press. I am elated that I did just that. It has been horrifying and fascinating trying to understand the logic of this company. My editor is no loner and my data was stolen. I would self publish before getting involved with these people.

We are quickly approaching the publication date for my debut novel, Bunny Slippers, and I am so grateful for the assistance and support that I received from working with Atmosphere Press. Every step of the way, they have kept me in the loop, and all I ever felt from every person I interacted with was that they cared about my book. I've had to do some lifting, but that was expected from the start as it is a team effort. Atmosphere is a great team that provides a supportive environment, and I am looking forward to a successful launch.

Each editor in each area was very responsive to my requests usually in a timely fashion. I did have issues with many of the emails going to spam which was frustrating.

Working with Atmosphere made every step of publishing my book a great exprerience. Everyone is both professional and skilled at what they do.

After self publishing two books, I chose Atmosphere for my third project. I am pleased with their delivery of services all coordinated under one roof. They have a good process with frequent status updates along the way from editing to proofreading to cover design to marketing. The developmental editing and proofreading were top-notch truly improving my product. I wished for more direct, real time communication with the cover and interior designers, but we worked out an excellent result after a few email rounds. Everyone on my Atmosphere team—and there were many— was truly author-centered and willing to fine-tune until I was completely satisfied. I plan to use them again
